    FIxed it – works now
UPDATE: ok, got a 2nd one and same thing – stopped working within minutes. Now these had only been used on tile, which is vacuumed daily to remove pet fur, dust etc. But my daughter saved the day. She examined the wheels and saw hair wrapped around the axle of the wheels. This after they ran under the couch (oops – need to vacuum better under there). At any rate – got reading glasses to see better and sharp tweezers and yanked out the hair wrapped around the wheel axles and voila! – they both work great now and the cat loves these mice!Cat took a bit to warm up to it but enjoyed it. Stopped working unless you turn it off and back on every minute or so. Got new batteries for it thinking maybe it came with a weak battery. No change. Chirps but doesn’t move. Only used on tile floor so should have worked fine. May tey another and hope it was just a dud.

Great fun until it gets flipped over
Maybe it’s just my cats but every two minutes they had flipped it on its side. And I had to go and flip it back. It works as described. Very fun for the cats until they flip it over

    There is so much potential
so as someone who is a college student and works in part-time job having toys that my cat could genuinely have fun with while I wasn’t home was super important and when I saw this, I thought it was perfect. Now the concept of this is perfect. The main issue I think is the noise of the wheels and the fact that it turns off after like five seconds.it does make a little mouse sounds and it does look like a mouse, which is fine but my main issue with this is the wheels are extraordinarily loud and even though that doesn’t bother my cat if she’s playing with us at night while I’m sleeping, it would 100% wake me up and this could definitely bother some other cats who might find that a little too loud and it might be disturbing to them. My second issue is this turns off a little too quickly. so it is pretty good about quickly changing direction if it does bump into something and the movement is pretty erratic, which is good because it always keeps your cat guessing and your cat can have a lot of fun with it. The issue is it turns off so quickly and requires you to keep tapping it and I think the issue is most cats will not understand and will kind of need their toy to move around for a little bit longer for them to kind of get what’s going on. So when you turn it on and you tap it, it starts squeaking and it moves around really fast and almost as soon as it bumps into anything and it changes direction it just stops moving. So my cat gets confused because she wants her toy to move around for a little bit longer ideally 20 seconds before she starts chasing it but this stops too long and she doesn’t understand just yet that she has to hit it and it’ll start moving again. And I just think that’s a really big flaw. I get it. It’s designed to conserve battery, but I think you should be able to kind of change just how long the sleep time is because 5 to 10 seconds is just way too short. Those are my only issues with this otherwise I think it’s pretty great yeah it does sometimes get stuck under the couch, but my cats pretty good about going under and getting it for me, but I understand that might not be every cat but it’s not terrible, but they definitely need to fix the loudness of the wheels and the sleep timer because it is really impacting the potential of this and there’s a lot of potential for this to be a great cat toy. So my cat will sometimes play with it unfortunately I still have to be there to keep hitting it once it stops moving so it’s not like a completely solo cat toy that doesn’t require the human there.

My cat cannot get enough of this
Bought this for my cat a few months back. She still can’t get enough of it. She will play with it all night. It has held up very well, she has not found a way to destroy it yet.

Barely moves; may be due to arrival with weak battery. Update: New Battery – Still doesn’t work.
I have four cats. All were very interested in this toy when it moved. Unfortunately, that is not often. The battery it came with appears to be very weak. The mouse stops at every grout line of the tile floors and won’t move at all on the rugs. When I nudge it I can get it to move a very short distance (a few inches) but the cats cannot get it to move very often despite slapping at it. After it refuses to move for a while, they lose interest. I am going to order a new battery to see if that helps, but buyers should be aware that at best the toy may become expensive (it uses a watch type battery) and at worst it is useless. If a new battery changes my mind about the review, I will update it. Update: I ordered a pack of 5 new batteries (they were not sold in singles). The new battery did not help. After the first day, the mouse stopped moving even a few inches and now, even with a new battery, it does not move at all. You are throwing your money away if you buy this.

    My cat loves it.
    It thrills my cat.

    Not easily activated by cats.
My cats would bat at it and the toy would not activate. I had to pick it up & set it down for it to work.

  8. Luis Pineiro

    EXCELLENT
I love this little mouse. But my cat ignored it lol.

  10. Micheal Smith

My cat loved it and played with it for a week and then it stopped working and never worked again what a waste

    Good product…. Useless pet….

  12. Kim Hicks

Kitten loves it! No assembly needed! Kitten has hours of fun chasing it! Makes little mouse squeaks! No bounce! Very durable running into furniture

  13. Mrs. S. Barwell

Theorectically this should be great but it isn’t. It doesn’t move at the slightest touch – you actually have to give it a push so my cats get bored trying and walk away. They are much more interested in a cheap toy with catnip.
