My Dogs Love These
Got these for my Lab and Golden and they love them. I freeze yogurt, bone broth, or mashed veggies/fruits to put in the balls. They’re durable and my dogs can chew for a while with no damage to the product. I do keep an eye on them and remove the toys when they are done to prevent further damage as they are heavy chewers. They’re super easy to clean, I just soak in hot, soapy water and then wipe them down. The mold that comes with it is easy to use and the frozen goodies are easy to remove from it as well.

Great Quality!
I have a pit mix who chews & chews & then chews some more…even though she’s 6 years old. Fortunately for us, she only chews her toys (such a good girl!), but her teeth were getting damaged due to the heavy duty nylon toys we’d been giving her. We’re trying to switch to toys like this to try to redirect her to something that won’t damage her teeth more. Even though she loves to chew stuff, she hasn’t totally taken to this…she kind of enjoyed it at first, but it’s like she can’t figure out how to get the whole thing in her mouth (she can’t), but she’s also kind of having trouble getting out the goodies on the inside. I took someone else’s advice & added gelatin to the stuff we were putting on the inside (4 packets of gelatin per 32 oz. of liquid is what the gelatin package said to use for a ratio…hint–it’s way too much. The stuff just sits inside in a gelatinous blob–it doesn’t ooze out & make a mess, but she also can’t easily get it out because it’s too formed. I’m probably going to have to either toss these things or just start adding them to her food & mash them up with a little water. The little silicone trays that come with this are pretty much egg-shaped, and they’re honestly smaller than I expected, given the size of the chew toys. However, once they were frozen, I just had to run a little warm water over the bottom of the “eggs” & the contents were easily squeezed out. I can fit 2 “half-eggs” into the chew toy & still be able to screw the top half of the toy back on. I’m going to try some other fillers to see if I can entice her to give these another try, and if it works, I’ll come back to update this review.

Treat Time Fun
At first, my little dog thought the idea was to rip the top off of the toy. She learned if she holds on to the ball and pulls the handle hard the lid will come off. I would eliminate the handle to make it harder for dogs to remove the lid and the toy will less likely get launched during rough play. I also think that without the handle the toy will stay cleaner. My dog quickly learned that it’s more fun to play with the toy with the frozen treat inside. I appreciate that I can make frozen treats out of whole foods. I haven’t noticed any mess in the house and after the treat is gone I put the toy in the dishwasher. You get two balls and two treat trays.
