You should turn the wheel for them a few times to let them know how it works at the begining.

    Keeps my bulldog occupied
This was a great buy. My bulldog usually inhales his food, and we wanted something that would also engage his brain (he’s a bulldog so he’s not the brightest, but he does love his food). We put his breakfast in this every day, and it keeps him busy for a good 30 minutes. He seems to really enjoy the experience, and it’s good for him to use his instincts. Also, if it can hold up to a 60lb bully, that means it’s super durable

I think this is pretty good for my pup!
I am incredibly impressed with the Ito Rocky Interactive Dog & Cat Food Puzzle Toy. It’s been a game-changer for my small dog’s mealtime experience. The design is brilliant, providing both mental stimulation and slowing down feeding, which is perfect for preventing boredom and promoting smarter eating habits. I love that it’s adjustable in height, making it suitable for both small and medium-sized dogs. Not only does it keep my pet engaged and entertained, but it also helps with anxiety and IQ training. The construction is sturdy and durable, ensuring it withstands regular use. I highly recommend this toy to all pet owners who want to enhance their furry friends’ mealtime and mental well-being!

    Great Slow Feeder
My dog inhales his food, even in the regular slow feed bowls. It was so easy to teach him to use. He even let’s us know when it’s empty, lol.The only downside is that the screws wear down after a while and the cache will fall when spun. It’s not to expensive, so it’s no problem to replace it after a few years. It’s better than finding piles of unchewed vomited food.

Perfect Puzzle for Prolonged Playtime and Pacing!
I recently purchased this interactive food puzzle toy for my dog, and it has been an absolute game-changer! The strong, sturdy construction ensures it can withstand my dog’s enthusiastic play sessions. The tumbler design with adjustable holes is brilliant, allowing me to use various sizes of food and treats, making it versatile and engaging. One of the biggest benefits is that it significantly slows my dog’s eating speed, which is great for his digestion and overall health. Watching him figure out how to get the treats out keeps him entertained and mentally stimulated for hours. I highly recommend this toy for any pet owner looking to combine fun and functionality in their pet’s mealtime routine!

    Sturdy but difficult
While this is sturdy, well built and can take a beating, it is complicated to fill. The slot to fill the cylinder is on the side, making it nearly impossible to fill without turning it at least partially sideways, but the holes down both sides of the cylinder mean the food/treats are going to spill out a little while you’re filling it. Also the holes are very large, meaning the food spills out fast.Pro – the dog loves playing with it and spinning it to get food outCon – she’s very energetic and smart and figured out if she gives it a good hit, the cylinder spins and sprays food all over the floor.Overall, for a less energetic dog who isn’t gonna try to spin the wheel at top speed, this is probably a good choice – it’s engaging and entertaining. For an energetic dog, probably not the best choice.

Ultra slow – Dog learned it in a day
Ultra slow feeder, takes my dog a while to get all the food out. I had to sit with him the first time and just used his “paw” command to get him to put his paw on my hand over it, then dropped my hand to wear his paw was hitting it, then I’d just tap it and say paw. He finally began connecting it, and started attempting it himself, and if nothing dropped I would quickly spin it to encourage the behavior. He had to take a break because it was definitely mentally stimulating, but 10 minutes later I encouraged him back to it. The second time I sat with him, encouraged his attempts, then left him alone, he’s now currently still going with it, and with how much he’s been sniffing and figuring it out, I am anticipating him taking a nap afterwards. But he’s been consistently getting it to work.I would say the learning curve would be the biggest thing, but if you have a smart dog and patience to teach them, they pick it up fast!Update: He is now a pro! I don’t use it all the time, as it’s extremely stimulating for him (not a bad thing!), and so I’ll switch it up with his other slow feeder which is slightly faster than this one and easier to use. But he now knows exactly how to use this one, although it takes him a very long time to get through it.

    Definitely not for cats
I’m not really sure a dog would like this either.I returned it

Forces my kitty to eat slower.
I bought this because I have one cat that eats and eats and eats. She is like a little vacuum cleaner. She looks like she’s inhaling the food. I wanted her to slow down eating so that she would fill up a little quicker and potentially eat a little less. With this item, she has to stick her paw in the little maze and try and get the food out and eat one or two pieces at a time instead of inhaling handfuls at a time.

  9. Mooretk

Great for smart dogs who need a challenge! Our poodle puppy was getting bored and whining, pacing and generally unhappy without constant stimulation or play, this product is amazing! Fill it with food and treats and it keeps him busy all day! No more whining, and he is much happier! Great idea for a product, and even better execution !

    My cat loves this.

  11. Lina

    Very easy to put together.

  12. Threader

Set it up and 4 cats all took to it quickly. I did find the bigger holes a bit too large for cat food. It dumps out more at once than I’d like, so I closed off half the hole size with some tape. Outside is easy enough to keep clean, inside might be a bit more challenging to clean the dryfood grease off when that time comes. Fairly sturdy for a cat. They push it around on the floor a bit, but haven’t flipped it. I could imagine this being an issue though with animals larger than a large cat. Over all, it’s our favourite of all the treat feeders we’ve tried. Doesn’t get lost like the balls do.

  13. ANGELA HAN

    My puppy loves it.
