Very impressed! Great battery life.
I shaved a Great Pyrenees today for a client (I’m in no way a groomer by any means) and these did pretty well considering the thick hair coat. The battery was fully charged before I started. It took me over an hour to shave the dog and the battery still had a bit left on it. I would definitely purchase these again.I’ve had ones that have to be plugged in as I wasn’t sure about cordless but they are extremely handy.

Nice Little Clipper
I was very pleasantly surprised when I got these Clippers. The entire clipper was about the same price as a replacement blade alone for the larger name brands. It actually does a surprisingly good job. The reason it wasn’t given a five-star rating is it was specifically marketed for thick hair dogs and I interpreted this as meaning that it would be really good for mats as well. It does an okay job on mats but on everything else it really does well. If I could have given it 4.5, I would have done so. In the beginning, the battery seemed to last forever but after about a dozen uses it goes from five bars to four bars in about five minutes. Nevertheless, there is plenty of battery life to completely trim my full-grown St. Bernard dog before it needs to be recharged so I really don’t have all that much to complain about. If you really have thick matted hair to shave you need to find a clipper with a skip tooth blade. Otherwise, I think you can rely on these for most routine trimming needs and it is certainly very economical. Make sure to keep the blades well-oiled as they do tend to bog down a little bit if the hair is dirty and the blades are dry.

Lhasa Apso daddy review. Buy these NOW!
I am not a professional groomer but after 20 years of trimming six purebred Lhasa Apsos I am an EXPERT! We have always had 2-3 Lhasa’s at a time. I have gone through many sets of trimmers including a $200 ceramic coated blade professional grooming set. To replace one blade yearly cost more than this set. They would get extremely hot and I would have to change out blades every 10-15 minutes. I also had a 2nd set to get around their ears, eyes and sensitive areas. I have two Lhasa puppies under a year old now. Because they have the attention span of a knat I must move quickly. In a short time I did their heavy coated areas. Butt first than back and neck than rear legs than their belly. I was done in 10 minutes per child. (they are not pets) In 20 minutes they were on the floor running and jumping around. Because they are so young I take my time around their face, eyes, and the bottom of their paws. This usually takes a lot of extra time with the old blades. But I was done in about 15 minutes each. No blade over heating at all. I didn’t even use any scissors around their nose, eyes or mouth. My children do not get Foo- Foo hair cuts. Military grade all around. I used 1/4″ and 1/8″ combs. No comb on the inside of their ears to improve air flow and prevent ear infections. Lhasa’s require frequent trimming or they get matted very easy. One trick we used is we attached a battery powered beard trimmer to a brush handle. When we brushed them they got used to the sound of a trimmer before we ever put one on them. I didn’t groom them until they were 6 months old the first time. They are nearly 9 months old now. I usually trim them every 60 days in the spring and summer. I haven’t paid any grooming fees in 20 years. One visit to a groomers cost more than these trimmers. Buy them today and take your time if you haven’t ever trimmed your own pet. Remember when you groom your pet you become part of the herd or pack. We call our family The Herd! Don’t get angry! I did and one of my boys would run and hide every time I turned on the trimmers.Good luck!

These clippers are amazing! I got my very nervous boy clipped in under 30mins including a short break. Cut easily and quickly. He wasn’t scared of the noise, I wouldn’t say quiet but they are not intimidating or loud. Best clippers I’ve ever used.

I bought this on December 24, 2024 as a back up to my first one that I purchased back in June 2021. The first pair is still going strong. I’ve used the second one only a few time, and now it’s having issues running. It will turn on for a few seconds (if that), then stops. That was when the battery was getting close to the 60 mark. I charged it to the full 100, and it still has the same issue. It is out of the return window.I guess the old saying is true…they don’t make things like they used to!I will be looking for another brand or go back to the previous one I used to use.

Review update … Going from Andis Clippers,which lasted for years to these so far so good!
Okay so I reviewed this probably to soon but I did notate in the review only time will tell a pun receiving these Clippers they seem to work pretty well but lost there Mojo!!Apparently they do not make things lasting any longer and I guess I do need to get back to the Andis private yeah and not being more expensive but I guess you get what you pay for!My husband did notice when the dog started growing the hair out it was where it did not flow smoothly through her hair and cut it to the length we were used to and only time could tell with that because it took hair growth use on the Clippers so we need to find another system and then use these only when her hair is shorter!We were in the understanding it would trim even through growth of hair so that’s why I decreased the Stars and updated the review!So for lasting and closer shaves through thicker hair consider better quality brand with more longevity Clippers such as the Andis brand!

I liked these clippers, very little noise and they were easy to use. They can be used with a cord or cordless which is great, there is also a good quality pair of steel scissors, not the cheap plastic type. I’ve only used the clippers twice but happy with the performance so far. I bought two sets as a stand by and paid more for the second pair than the first, which was annoying. Very pleased with the clippers, recommended.
