My dogs’ nails get really long because I’m scared to clip them and accidentally cut the quick. Of course, it’s not good to let them get too long, so I’m glad I have this grinder. Grinders seem much safer (though slower) because it’s just bit by bit.I haven’t used this yet, but I have to say that I think that using it will not be as stressful as it could be. This grinder is pretty quiet and not intimidating at all. I am hoping that my dogs will not be stressed out when I grind their nails down some. What I like is that there is a light that will help you see the quick too. I also like that it has attachments to get the fur between the paw pads. My dogs have a lot of fur everywhere, including there. So this is a welcome attachment.I dunno… maybe I’ll end up just taking them to the groomer. If nothing else, I’ll at least use the trimmer for their fur. The more I talk about this… well, I’m just a softie for my pups and so I may leave it to the professionals. Regardless of what I do, my impression of this product is that its a great product at a reasonable price point.I hope you liked my review. I finally found the one.
I have a 100 boy that I have tried multiple grinders on. I used to trim them with clippers, but our home has tan carpet and a couple years ago I hit the quick while trimming him before we had guests over for a new year’s party. Long story short he ran, and the house looked like a murder scene. Never clipped them myself again after that and have been taking him to the groomer which can be costly for a dog his size.We have tried 2 other grinders, but the noise alone would get him worked up and they would take too long to actually grind down his nails. This one is a game changer as it is surprisingly quiet compared to the others and it grinds just fast enough that it doesn’t take an eternity to do all 18 nails but not so fast that you might grind too far. The LED lights help to see the quick but if you use the attachment a good portion of that light is blocked.Overall, very happy with it and so my good boy.

Very nice
This is a really nice grooming set and i love the different settings. However, my cat absolutely hates it. The sound doesn’t bother him at all, it’s very quiet. But when I put it on his nail he freaks out so I need to work on gradually getting him used to it do i can hopefully use it. Overall though, it’s a great product.

Plastic blades and special power cords
Having two separate power cords, especially an specialty cord like USB to 2-pin, is kinda ridiculous. Trimmer blades are plastic and are special blades to this product. Dont know if separate replacements are even available.They work ok but for the price it seems like the engineering here is just lackluster.

Makes grooming a lot easier!
The 2-in-1 design is really convenient, especially for saving space. The low noise feature is a big plus, as my dog tends to get spooked by loud noises.The LED lights are also a nice touch, helping me see exactly what I’m doing. The cordless clippers with double blades make trimming paw fur much easier and faster.

Amazing trimmer and file!
I have always hated and felt bad for my fur baby when I would clip her nails so I wanted to get a reliable file that wouldn’t hurt her and leave her nails soft instead of coarse and scratchy. The trimmer comes with two different sizes to get around their paw and between the pad. The file is rechargeable, cords included, and equipped with a light to help see while filing! I will update my review as time goes on, as it is made of plastic rather than a more sturdy material and hopefully it keeps its charge and doesn’t degrade with wear and tear.

Great Toolkit!
What’s not to like about this tool kit? My dog greatly prefers grinding to clipping, which is dangerous if you clip too low. What I like about this grinder is that it gives you the variability you need to personalize the grinding action for your dog. There is an attachment head that allows you to grind only within a small opening or top down for controlled grinding assistance or you can remove the attachment head altogether. There are also two speeds for grinding. And there is a light for inspection of your work as you are grinding. I also appreciate that this is chargeable so I don’t have to be tethered to a wall when I’m working. I have no gripes whatsoever about this product. I even like the packaging!
