My cat rarely gets excited about anything, yet she immediately had a lot of fun with this. The toy was fast, sometimes it appeared to chase her, then it seemed to hide, then it would run away from her. The tail only made it more enjoyable for her. It seemed to bring out her hunting instincts which usually do not surface.I could not find the power button at first, but the “on” symbol is there, embedded in the design that is on the ball. The USB-C plug-in place is much easier to find, but neither seems to interrupt the speed this little toy goes.I was surprised at how small the box was, I wondered if it would be good. Believe me, it is a perfect toy for a cat! It is the right size, and the tail only adds interest. There is a fuzzy ring around it, so it is surprisingly quiet. Best of all (for me), it does not use batteries, it can be recharged easily. It comes with the adapter, the cord is short, I just plug it into the USB on my computer.

This moves around better on tile floor but it’s quite loud and kept running into obstacles. I really don’t have enough clear space in my house for this not to constantly bump into stuff. It moves slower on carpet but also tends to get caught up on itself–the pompoms and tail. The battery charge lasted closer to 30 min.

Wonky tail, but fun toy!
My cat took an immediate interest in this toy and it kept him entertained for quite a bit of time. Like a toddler, however, he got bored and started playing with the box it came in. I will have to put it away until he forgets about it and then bring it out again. It came charged and ready to go straight out of the box. It was easy to plug in and charge. The light indicators are bright. My only real complaint/issue is that it comes tightly packaged into a small box and the tail is bent/crooked. It is made of medium rubber, so hopefully, it will straighten back out in time. Until then, it doesn’t roll straight and kind of goes in a circle. I have already found a tiny bit of broken rubber/plastic on the floor from where my cat might have bit off part of the tail. Also, the ball felt grimy when I picked it up off the floor – the material acts like a Swiffer and picks up all the grime on the floor, so I’m going to have to figure out how to wash it safely.Overall though, this is a great toy and I’m happy my boy is entertained by it.

Cat Toy
Interesting cat toy that automatically rolls in random patterns. It has slow and fast speeds, charges via UCB C type cord which is included. It also has a spare wrap around tie with bows in a different color. It has LED lights to make it more interesting and the long tail does resemble the shape and size of a rat tail. Our cat enjoys both watching it and chasing it. It rolls best on tile or hard surfaces and work on carpet, but for carpet the fast speed is better due to carpet slowing it down. The only problem is keeping up with it and finding it after it rolls under something.
