Awesome Bed For Elderly Dogs and Younger Dogs
I am writing this review 5 months after receiving it. I had ordered it for an elderly Miniature Schnauzer with back and joint issues. The only regret I have is I didn’t order this for him years ago. He loved it the 2 weeks that he had left on this earth. I am so glad I purchased this for him. This made his last days so much more comfortable. He used it continuously. The bed arrived a day earlier than expected. It said it required letting the bed fill out naturally for 24 hours or maybe 48 hours before using it. It arrives with all the air sucked out of it in plastic and expands when its opened. I didn’t follow the directions, he was miserable, so he started using it in about 4 hours. It held a dog that was about 20 lbs. very well. The bed was 2 to 3 inches off the floor, so it was easy for a little dog to get on with mobility issues. The outside covering is removable and washable. I washed it once and it held up well when it began to smell. Washing it multiple times I can’t make any comments there. The inside padding didn’t have any smell and was not washed. The covering is thin and if you hold it up to the light you can see the light through it. However you don’t notice it unless you hold it up to the light. The fur hides the thin covering well and it looks lush and full. I think it makes the bed a lot more comfortable for the dog. I haven’t had any chewing issues at this point so I can’t make any comments there. The puppy miniature schnauzer has used it for several weeks now. He isn’t interested in chewing this. I highly recommend this product for the comfort it provides especially for small dogs with joint problems. The negative things I could say is the zipper could be a little better made. I had to be cautious when putting this over the foam. The Covering was thin too, but I covered that earlier. There may or may not be better made products out there but for the price I ranked this a 5 star. It was cheaper than products I purchased at local stores in the past when prices were cheaper than they are now. If you have an elderly dog with joint issues do your dog a favor and order this for them.

Pillowy AND GREAT Orthopedic Support!
I have a French Bulldog with IVDD. I have to be VERY conscious of what beds I give her. When she has a flare up she has to do 8 weeks of kennel rest and she has always done well with a thick orthopedic kennel pad. In fact, she LOVES her kennel so much I leave it on the couch for her so she’s closer to us. Well I’m sick of having a kennel on my couch so I got this. I wanted something super comfortable but also very supportive so orthopedic was a must. I did well because she LOVES it!! It’s not losing any of its thickness from her weight which tells me her back is supported and the pillow makes it look sooooooo comfy. Im very happy with my purchase!! My dog has me trained because her kennel is still on my couch but I have to move this bed from room to room so it’s available to her. That’s fine with me, it’s her house she just lets me live here. (She’s the little one, her big sister loves it too!)

Best dog bed I have ever owned!
I’ve had a pack of dogs for nearly 30 years. I have purchased countless beds over the years ( as you might guess). This is by far the most superior in quality, durability, ease of use (cover zips on and off effortlessly) and seemingly comfort (yes, I HAVE piled on with my dogs a time or two). It was worth every penny. I also purchased the foam mattress cover and highly recommend. We opted for the Sherpa cover with zero regrets. I still toss a blanket over top of it all because I’m extra when it comes to comfort and cleanliness. You will not regret this purchase!

Great Bed! However, Not a Burrow Bed….
I love the size, and it fits into the space I needed it in. From the picture it looks like it is a burrow bed, but it is not!? I’m a little disappointed with that but I do like the bed. A dog cannot burrow because the cover isn’t anchored high enough on the open end, to allow the cover to fall back into place once a dog lifts it up and gets underneath it. But, I am a seamstress, and I may add a netted wedge to that edge so it functions more like a burrow bed cover.

Absolutely love the design of this bed. Not sure how easy it will be to clean because of the pillow but it is so perfect and my dog seems to find it comfortable. I love the color of it and that it seamlessly blends into my living room decorum. I usually would bypass something I have to pay for shipping for but please don’t bypass this for anyone thinking of getting it, definitely do it.

Our two larger dogs (lab great dane mix and lab mix) love it! they both share the same bed and it has made it 4 months so far. I’ve washed the cover probably 6 or so times at least. The bottom of the cover is wearing out at this point but the top where they lay is great still. The foam is perfect! it has held up great. I am looking at purchasing a new one because the foam just has too much of a dog smell at this point lol. and the price dropped by $10 so make sure you look at other color choices if you are feeling like its too expensive. I feel like this bed was better than the $30 round ones we were getting at costco. We liked the price but it was smaller since it was round and both our dogs insist on sharing a bed. the rectangular shape is perfect for that. Plus the costco covers shrink down and its a pain to restuff the inside. oh and the problem with mold! the chip inside the cedar bed made the cotton later (holding the chips inside) grow mold from wet paws coming inside after rainy days. No mold on this one. considering we paid $40 and got 4 months use out of it I’m ok. We technically could keep using this one but I’m just ready for a new one. at $30 if it lasts 4-6 months thats even better!

I’ve fallen asleep on this before. It’s so comfortable, and the cover is so soft, that there was no way sleep could have been avoided. This is the first bed that my dog has willingly lay down on. He still prefers human beds and couches, but there have been many instances where Nemo will sit on this bed on his own free will. I got this through the warehouse, so there was a small hole in the cover, but I patched it up and it is so insignificant in comparison to the comfort of this product that it wasn’t worth taking a star off.Not only is this product comfortable for humans and likeable for my spoiled, picky pup, but it looks really great too. The simple design makes it easy to match in any home. Unfortunately, the dog section of my living room is a bit mismatched already, but in any well-designed space, this bed could slip right in and look great. But, in terms of comfort, it might just take the cake.
