Remote Control Toy
Remote Control ToyI just got the Bluetooth cat toy. I got this for my cat and for my ferrets. I took the feathers off it. Feathers and ferrets don’t mix (just as a head’s up). Anyways, it’s so much fun watching them chase the toy, especially with its colorful lights, it’s so entertaining. I love that I can control it from my phone, it’s neat having the indirect interaction. Plus, the USB rechargeable feature makes it super convenient, keeping them active and happy indoors!

The battery is Terrible
When it first came I wasn’t expecting it to be at 100% but I charged it over night and when I took it off the charger it was already on 30% because it’s such a low charger it will only move once and then it will go to 10% then it will die completely I get that it was cheap but the dollar tree makes better products than this.

Entertainment
Kitty loves it. First charge lasted a couple of hours. After that, charge lasted less than one hour. Also doesn’t go into sleep mode as indicated in the instructions.

Fun interactive toy
I love that this comes with the remote app so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of a tiny handheld remote, keeping batteries in it, etc. You have to stay fairly close to the toy for it to register, but that’s typical of all remote controlled toys. I do wish it had the option to replace the feather with different toys (like a wiggle worm or a tassel) or better yet, attach your own toy.

Seems to be entertaining for my goofy cat
My cat loves to watch things, but isn’t very interested in chasing. He will sit and watch this thing move around the kitchen for a while, but won’t give it a chase much at all.I like the way that this toy moves and can get unstuck pretty much all the time. The randomness and the flashing lights capture my cat’s attention. The little stick with the feather is pretty vital to the operation of the toy, so make sure that your cat doesn’t eat it or remove it and hide it away.Overall, a pretty nice toy. If your cat is a chaser, I’m sure that it will wear your cat out. My goofy cat just likes to watch it move – which isn’t a bad thing at all.

Good balance, glitchy app
I was so excited to get this toy for my cats, I figured they’d love it and I was right, they’re intrigued by it. The toy charged up pretty quickly. It has great balance and rolls around on my wooden floors with ease. It only goes forward and backwards, and once it hits something going forward, it’ll roll backwards, but it keeps getting stuck in corners or under my furniture.The app itself is garbage. It has so many glitches that it’s almost impossible to use. Plus, while trying to set it up on my phone, I had to get a code emailed to me and the email was in Chinese and went into my spam folder (since it was from an unknown sender).The toy will work without the app, however it’ll keep running and running until it gets stuck somewhere and the battery dies I suppose.I have a feeling my cats will get bored with this pretty quickly.

It won’t pair with my phone
It’s controlled by an app and since it won’t pair, there is no remote to control it. Currently rhis is junk unfortunately.

Fun for me and the cats
I have two cats who are getting a bit older now. However, the eldest still plays like a kitten. They both love their scratching posts and other toys, so I thought they might like this.Set up was so easy. I charged it and screwed the feather into the top of it. I also sprayed a tiny bit of cat nip spray on the feather.I got the app loaded and we were ready to play. Just a note here – it goes wildly everywhere and under furniture if I use it without the app.The app is great. The main thing to remember is to be sure the toy is turned on or the app won’t work with it. I tried and tried yesterday to make it work with the app and reread the directions to see what was wrong. It was a simple matter of turning the toy itself on.It goes forward and backwards- I wish it had left and right also. I’ve kept the toy turned on with the app up on my phone. When one of the cats strolls through I make it move ever so slightly to get their attention.They haven’t been brave enough to attack it full on, but they stare at it moving ever closer to it. Then, I make it move a bit more.So far I think I’m having the most fun with it. I love watching the cats reactions to it!This cat ball is well made. It’s tougher than I thought it would be. The biggest plus is that it’s ultra quiet when it moves! It just sits there with the lights blinking until I remotely move it.So far it’s been fun and has captured the attention of my two cats. I’m having a blast with it and recommend it.
