Plenty Warm in (sheltered) <32°F Weather
Works like a charm. An outdoor (feral) cat chose my patio furniture to shelter on/in this winter B4 I installed this in her preferred chair. She rapidly chose to trust me after she had a few nights of added warmth and now, well, I have a new cat.To the human touch it may seem barely warm, but to a cat it is purrfect! (Our weather was below freezing MANY nights yet she always presented herself as toasty warm when emerging for food and petting.)

Nice size and range of settings
This is for my elderly lady cat. The size is nice (she can get her entire body on the pad), range of settings is great and I like that I can set it to automatically shut off after a couple hours since that’s about all she cares to sit on it. I’m glad to have received a second cover for it so one can be in the wash and she still has a comfy pad cover to use. The only issue is that it takes a really long time for it to reach it’s set temp. so sometimes she sees me turn it on, she’ll sit on it for a couple minutes, she can’t detect warmth so she leaves. Then I periodically feel the pad until I can feel it warmed up then I place her on it later.

My outside cat loves this especially during the cold weather, I have it under my covered porch next to the wall and they stay dry and warm. I ordered a second one and put beside it, and I keep their bowls of food sitting on it and they stay warm too.

I had purchased a highly rated pad previously and it produced very little warmth was an uncomfortable plastic and the cord was flimsy so I returned it for this one. Wow what a difference in quality. Soft covers and the perfect amount of warmth. The cord and controls are all excellent quality!

Bird cage warmer
Love this heat pad. I’m using it in on top of an outdoor bird cage. The waterproof feature is outstanding and my birds are really happy. It’s warm but not hot. The timer and level setting is wonderful!

Doesn’t heat
The pad is barely warm on the highest setting. Love that my dog doesn’t chew on the cord. Bought early to have on hand when needed. Past time to return for replacement when used the first time.
