I spent weeks looking between two websites for an orthopedic bed for my 15lb dog for in his kennel as he has luxating patella’s on his hind legs. Which any dog parent familiar with this condition, or any hip or joint conditions understands the need for accurate advertising. The bed is in the crate. I waited for it to inflate, as instructed for the appropriate amount of time. I should have listened to the reviews that said the middle part wasn’t supportive enough and doesn’t maintain what support it provides for long. I noticed right away, but I figured blankets would compensate enough, like the other reviewers said. But upon checking it today I am disgusted by the quality. I didn’t wash it before using because I didn’t think it would be too durable and just needed something to make him comfy. I even went up a size which doesn’t do much good if he weighed more. It is plushy and the side parts do stay full, but it even makes it worse because he has to step over it. I’d rather have it be the other way around. Interestingly enough, for the blanket monster burrower he’s come to be since rescued from cement living in his own feces when I found him, he doesn’t go under the burrowing flap even though I’ve showed him and since he needs the blankets for support it’s just a real fail and my dog deserves better but so many people review these beds without having time to rest it out or sometimes bribed by companies I’ve noticed…or they have low standards of care for their pets

I bought one for my rescue that loves to burrow, his brother kept stealing it so I bought a second for him. These beds are fantastic, my dogs love them so much and I love that my purchase supports a husband and wife company not a big box store. Excellent purchase

As soon as I unpacked it, my Yorkshire Terrier couldn’t wait to give it a try. We have a few doggie beds around the house; and the one he likes best is similar to this one.Within 30 minutes of it being dropped off at my doorstep, ny dog was fast asleep, dreaming and snoring.If your dog likes plush comfort, this is definitely the bed to get. I haven’t tried the canopy yet. It’s wrapped under the bed. I’ll fold it up later; and see whether he digs it too.

So start with why a 4*, I wish the sides were firmer. The sides make it more bean bag like. Plus the interior should not be white, bad choice when it comes to dogs. Now for the good!!!My pup loves the bed. She is 11lbs but I went with the medium size. She loves to be under the covers and sprawled out. Other beds were not roomy enough. This one is perfect, lots of room. I took photos so you could judge the space and options she has. She can disappear, curled up and covered with half a bed left or sprawl out. Totally worth the money
