Quality alternative to cone for rear leg recovery
Had to find a recovery suit that covered my dogs legs as he was licking at a raw spot on the top of his back thigh. This covered the area, where many options for rear legs did not. The material is like a heavy duty tshirt, feels like it will be durable, while also having stretch for comfort. The bottom is stitched for a cutout for male dogs, this worked perfectly, even though it fits kind of loose on his belly. The zipper is SO much better than velcro – much easier to put on, and more likely to hold up. (The velcro on the suit I used after his surgery when a puppy didn’t last more than a week.)I anticipated fit to be an issue, as his neck and chest measurements were smaller than the size that seemed to match best. (For reference, I have a 35lb. labradoodle, 20 in. back, 25in. chest, 14in. neck). I chose the XL primarily for length. While it is loose in the torso, it is long enough, and the snaps around the neck/shoulder area allow further adjustment. Overall, a much better alternative than the cone.

Product slips off dogs!
Product does NOT work. We got this for our dog to wear overnight to prevent licking his back legs and belly post surgery. Went to bed thinking this was the EXACT product we needed, and woke up with it 100% off our dog. This is designed as if dogs have shoulders like humans, so when they lay down and curl up, the product completely slides down on them. Product was correct size and fit him while standing, but clearly did not do its job overnight. People also complained about the zipper, and I can see why. Very poor grip. This will be going back and would NOT recommend to anyone.

Easy to put on, but zipper doesn’t stay well on its own.
Pros: easy to put on. Cut out spot for male dogs is great size and leaves plenty of clearance, same with the bum so you don’t need to worry about taking it on and off for potty breaks. My dog is very comfortable in it. Recovering from TPLO and it’s still chilly, so I like that it covers his entire shaved area for a little extra warmth during potty breaks and as we graduate to walks.Con: “Hand wash only,” which is just personally inconvenient while our dog is in early stages of recovery. And that dang zipper. It’s fine if you’re monitoring your dog and can pull it back up when it inevitably starts to slip. But it’s super easy for the dog to wiggle out of once it starts to slip. Easy fix with a safety pin, but I wish the suit itself had a better zipper OR something built in to help secure the zipper.The shoulder snaps are nice but sizing doesn’t work super great for our dog. It’s a little awkward so does require regular adjustments to keep it from sitting too low and starting to slip down his legs. From the product images, I expected a more “fitted” material and fit, but it’s not at all that type of fabric. Very relaxed like a standard tshirt. Cannot see the shape of the dogs leg at all once on and definitely does not cinch at the ankle.All in all, not bad for the price and I’m glad we have it as an alternative.

Cute but not a good fit
Cute and cloth feels comfy. It’s easy to put on and take off, but the coverage was lacking some. It could be that my dog just has different proportions for the size of the garment I bought (XL) but she was able to slip out of it even AFTER I used safety pins to hold the snap on button in place!I’d say to be careful with accuracy of measuring your pet before purchasing the incorrect size.

Great for TPLO recovery
This fit my 46lb Pit/husky/cow mutt like a glove for her tplo surgery. Top zip is very convenient since we couldn’t bend her legs much. Material is not too thick and dries quickly. A little worried she would get pee inside the jammies but didn’t though there could be more room for her peepee zone.

Runs a bit big
My little Yorkie had major surgery on her back left leg. Rather than wearing a cone, I bought some of these surgical suits. It was a little big. I should’ve ordered a size down.So much better than her having to wear a cone for eight weeks.

Poor Design
Looking at the pics of the suit it looks great. When received the suit is not a good design for dogs. The shoulder straps are under realistic dog do not have shoulders. The straps slips off ordered the next smaller size and it did not work. I Would not recommend to friends.

Not helpful
This product just doesn’t fit. I measured my dog and ordered the appropriate size according to the chart. The Zipper would not stay up, the legs of the suit were long and they wouldn’t stay folded. It made me very uncomfortable to leave my dog alone after his procedure. I was afraid it would come off and he would be able to get to the stitches. It really isn’t worth buying.
