Great enrichment activity!
Purchased this as a birthday present for my 2 year old Belgian Malinois. It basically trained her to use it itself, I just encouraged her to press the button at the start and she figured I put the rest within 5 minutes. It was super fast and easy to set up! DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERIES! You can choose to plug in the dispenser to the wall but you will need batteries for the button. When it was empty, she repeatedly pressed the button aggressively which popped out the batteries but it did not break. It has 2 different sounds you can choose from and isn’t super loud. It’s a good size for any dog. It can be a little finicky to disassemble for cleaning but it is not too difficult!

Great stimulation and exercise for your dog
We purchased this remote feeder for our miniature American shepherd puppy. This breed needs LOTS of exercise and continuous stimulation/job. This feeder is a wonderful addition to our collection of puzzles. Open the top and there is a barrel to hold the kibble. We feed 1 cup and it is about 3/4 full at 1 cup. Insert the barrel, turn the unit on and either plug in or have batteries inside. The remote button takes batteries also. It has two different sound cues so the dog knows that the remote was successfully pressed. You put the remote where you want it – it can hang by suction (we did not do this) or it can be placed on the floor. We started out with the remote next to the feeder. It took only two times of hitting the button for our pup to understand how it worked. When the button is pressed, there is a chime or tone and the barrel rotates, dropping some kibble in the tray. The opening on the barrel is adjustable. We started moving the feeder and button to different locations to add a challenge each feeding. Sometimes I create an obstacle course for our pup to go through to get to the button. I don’t know about the exact transmission range, but we can put the button on the lower level and the feeder on the second floor or put the button at one end of the hall and the feeder in the opposite end of the next room, some 30 feet away and it works great. Our dog LOVES the feeder and loves the challenges we give him ever meal time. It takes about 30-35 minutes for our pup to eat from this feeder with our setup (pup is 6 months old). I highly recommend this feeder if you have a dog that needs a job and needs to be busy all the time and needs more exercise. Note: the first one we purchased would not connect. It was easily returned and the second one has worked like a charm for 2 months, 2x a day.

Great for treats or kibble!
I really like this product and so does our pup. We’ve used it for treats and for kibble.. He definitely prefers kibble.Pros – It keeps your pup busy. It’s pretty easy to figure out how to assemble and use. It can easily be adjusted to dispense different sizes and amounts. It isn’t too loud and makes just enough noise for your pup to catch onto the sounds and know when it is dispensing. Works from a good distance if you want your pup to go a ways to get the treats.Cons- It doesn’t come with a plug for a regular outlet so you will need your own. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it lined up right before it starts dispensing. It has stopped dispensing while it still contained treats. The button comes with a suction cup that didn’t work great.. At least not on our hardwood floors. And if your dog is rough with it they can easily flip the button over and/or knock the top off of the machine.

Works great
Reliably dispenses treats. It’s a little hard to regulate how many treats come out. Especially if you want it to only dispense one or two. I got the 2 pack with blue and green. Originally they didn’t communicate to each other but another time they did(in other words the green button dispensed the blue machine). They do work great and I like the reliability of the dispensing so I can treat and mark exactly what I want.

Don’t recommend
Not even 6 months in and it’s already stopped working. When trying to rotate, it just gets stuck and clicks. Tried reaching out to company for troubleshooting but no response. Really a shame because the pup loved playing with it. But it should last longer than 6 months for the price.

Cool concep but the communication between the button and dispenser sucks
This little machine is SO fun! My dog gets really excited when I bring it out, but the build of it is lacking a bit. At first, everything worked fantastic, we had no issues for about 2 months. Then one day I heard the button sound get distorted I also noticed the dispenser wasn’t responding to my dog’s presses. I picked up the button and it was HOT. My dog was very frustrated too because the noise he was hearing that meant “RUN FOR TREATS!” was not providing him treats. I put the unit up for awhile, and replaced the batteries, just in case (although the same batteries worked perfectly fine in a remote we tried after) I have had the same temperature problems but there is still some times a communication issue between the button and machine. To solve this, I stay in ear shot of the button and sit by the machine so I can toss a treat in when the dispenser does not do its job.The unit is also incredible hard to clean due to some grooves. But dispite the hard to clean part, I would have given this product 5 stars if both parts communicated properly.

Works well, very happy puppy and owners. Batteries do t last long, but USB power works well.

Bought this thinking you’d get the button and dispenser as a whole. NO you only get the button. Really misleading advert. Not happy at all. Not even described as “ONLY BUTTON INCLUDED” or a link to the dispenser. Waste of money.

It’s just the freaking button. How do you get to do anything that is described with just the button? Where do you put the treats? How is this a pet dispenser? How are any of the pictures/videos on the advertisement relevant?Total rip off.

Great toy for your pet and you together. Ours didn’t come with a suction for the button but works great otherwise. Definitely something that you need to be around and monitor your pet.

Bought this product for stimulation for our Lab. He worked out how to use pretty quickly but get disappointed as after a few turns the dispenser starts making a loud clicking sound and doesn’t drop any food. Being food obsessed he then starts barking at the machine. Not sure what the issue is. Frustrating when they do the right thing for no reward. We end up having to give it a shake to get food to dispense. For cost you would think it would work longer than a few times before having an issue
