Stopped dog from licking paw
My dog seems to have become bored. She was licking and/or chewing the inner pad of her hind foot. Found this product had good reviews and could be delivered overnight.Reciews read it smells bad, is oily, and some recommended to wear latex gloves and a mouth/nose covering. Excellent advice.I applied this to my dog’s paws on the cement outside and let it dry a couple of minutes then she went straight to her kennel. Applied first thing in the morning, late lunch, then before bedtime for two days. Wound began healing. I’ve applied it once this morning. I think she’s been leaving it alone. She also didn’t like how it hurt the first time she ran and tried to pivot with her wound. So I think she sees no reason to chew her foot now.I’m probably going to apply this once, maybe twice per day until the wound is healed. Then I hope I just keep it on hand but never use it.Oh and I’d occupy the dog for a couple of minutes if applying the spray to a wound. After a couple of applications, she wanted to lick it off. It maybe stung for a moment. But, I distracted her and she let it be.

Probably Bad Luck
This spray did not work for me at all but it could have just been bad luck for me which is why I’m not rating it lower. It may work well on other pets but my dog did not seem to care at all about the smell nor taste of this spray. We tried light sprays, nothing. HEAVY sprays, nothing. Spray on his paw, NOTHING! I’m purely rating as a 3 star because I was disappointed in the product not working for us. I can not positively say that this spray doesn’t work at all however so I would still recommend everyone to at least give it a try. My dog could just be a weird one.

Ineffective, Bitter Tasting But Smells Good
I bought this because my golden retriever puppy has decided that I am a human chew toy and I was getting desperate. I can confirm that the product does taste bitter because I sprayed it on myself, forgot about it, and accidentally tasted it. It also smells really good, if you like the smell of lemongrass. I find this a bit odd — how can something smell this good but taste that bad at the same time? The problem is that it’s just not effective. I sprayed it on everything that my puppy liked to chew on and what did he do? He licked it off. Then looked at the bottle like he wanted more. I KNOW that this stuff is bitter-tasting, but it didn’t deter my pup one bit. So, save your money because this isn’t the solution.

Doesn’t work as intended
I wanted to love it but honestly it does not work with my Golden Retriever puppy. I spray it to deter her from chewing on my stair railing and computer cords and she’s unbothered by the taste; however, I can taste it in my mouth after I’ve sprayed it. The smell and taste is very bothersome for me but not my dog. I wouldn’t recommend. The attached picture is the damage AFTER spraying to prevent her from biting the railing.

Update: It’s been a couple months now. Chief still hates the smell and taste! Lol It works wonders and honestly it’s helped break the habit of chewing in his paws 24/7! Amazing!My rescue pitbull, Chief, has so many skin allergies. We have to get him prescription meds. Now we have something to use in the in between to help prevent him from chewing at his front paws. 🐾 The poor thing has white paws but they look brown in the center just from chewing. So when we sprayed this stuff on him and he sneezed and shook his head lol we were like YES! Finally a deterrent! It’s so safe and doesn’t mess up our floors. You can just spray wherever he’s at. He’s got weeks of us spraying him for it to get better because his paws are THAT bad but now we have another tool in our arsenal. And this is one stubborn dog. I saw that reviews said it didn’t work for their dogs so it’s a personal dog preference. I almost didn’t buy this product because of those reviews but im so glad I gave it a try! I suggest you do the same. Worst thing that happens is you have to return it. But if it works, it’s life changing for both of y’all. My dogs didn’t really chew and destroy stuff as puppies but just seeing how Chief won’t put his mouth on his paws assures me it would deter him from chewing anything else. So I highly recommend this product!

Best stuff I have ever used!
I adopted a neutered adult male dog to add to my pack of 3. My housebroken neutered male dog male and the new fella have been in an all-out marking war all over the house for months! I tried cleaning with everything and spraying with other no marking products that left my house smelling like a dog kennel. And I am a clean freak with a sensitive nose! I sprayed this twice in the same areas for 1 week. Only 1 spot found! And that one takes a pass since we are having severe bad weather and none of them want to use the doggie door. Still have some left in the bottle too! Others, I used an entire bottle and it didnt work. Got a stubborn dog? try this stuff!

Works really well to stop dog chewing. However it smells really bad and if you get it on yourself (hands) and you bite your nails the taste stays for quite some time.

Unfortunately this did not work for my needs. I bought this in hopes that my rabbit would stop chewing furniture. But it did not. But it may work for a different pet.
