Keeps kitties interested
My calico cat is insane. She’s the most awesome cat I’ve ever had and that’s saying something since I’ve had cats my whole life. That said- I don’t have the time every night to play with her for hours. She’ll go on and on and on like the energizer bunny so she wears me out quick! This toy has her interested for a long time! She’ll play with the top accessory and then the ball at the bottoms. She loves it so I do too! Highly recommend

Maybe I need better treats
I like the design of this thing. I can imagine it working for some cats. But mine don’t seem to interested. They generally don’t like going after things that are pointing vertically vs things that might be dragged on the ground. Sometimes the older cat will punch at a ping-pong ball in the lower section. With the treat dispenser, my cat’s either don’t understand it, or just aren’t interested enough in the treats. I’ll keep trying though.

My cat likes the ball on top.
My cat, surprisingly, likes the ball on top more than the treats inside. He will paw-around the ball while there are still treats in the base. Normally, he will extract every treat out any toy, then lose interest. I mixed some food with the treats, so it was not all treats.I have this on a kitchen runner, so it does not slide as some others have said regarding wood floors. My cat plays with the ball about four hours a day, and it has survived – my cat is eighteen pounds!

Good Overall Design, but Could Use Tweaks
I ordered this toy primarily for a 7-month-old kitten, but also to entertain our middle-age cats. The kitten got the top wand off the toy in 5 minutes — but still had fun batting that piece around the floor. The ping-pong ball in the base also lasted about 5 minutes before being pulled out…and it’s now somewhere in our house. (Thanks for sending two.) We then filled the treat dispenser up top, which drew in all 3 cats. None of them could figure out that they had to spin the dispenser by the tantalizing strings to get treats to drop into the base, so we did it for them. As they tried to reach those treats through the upper holes in the base, the older cats’ paws got temporarily stuck, resulting in their toppling the entire toy while extracting paws. Voila — treats on the floor! Our older cat instantly learned that’s all he had to do to get treats every time.This toy could be vastly improved by being a bit larger and heavier. It should also have nonskid rubber on bottom, as it slides all over wood floors during play. (Works best on carpet in current design.) I also think it would be more entertaining if it were battery-operated, to make one or more of the toy components move independently.

This is a great cat toy for the price. It keeps our little kitten busy!
We got this toy for our new kitten. He has plenty of energy, so we were hoping that this toy would provide some independent play and enough stimulation to tire him out. Thankfully, it is working! He loves playing with it, and our older cats use it every once in a while too. The quality is about what you would expect for the cost. It’s lightweight, but fairly durable. Durable enough to stand up to the attacks and bites of our crazy kitty. Lol!

Kitty enjoys it
Although this is not my kitty’s favorite toy, it does keep her entertained. My only real problem with this toy is that the balls do not stay inside the toy (and therefore she’s not so interested any more). She has scooped them out several times, and now they are MIA. Most likely under the couch or my bed….. Other than that is works fine.
