Best litter box I’ve ever owned
I was reluctant to spend almost $100 on a litter box, but I figured that’s a lot less than the $700 my friend spent on a litter robot!!We have 2 cats and this box is plenty big enough for them to share. It is super sturdy. The little feet on the bottom ensure the box does not move, even when scooping and stirring. The included scoop makes it super easy to scoop out the poops out and stir litter around to get the sawdust of the used litter to fall through to the bottom pan. The liners for the bottom pan make it super easy to toss the used litter. I suggest making sure you get all the air out after replacing the liner. This will allow more of the sawdust to accumulate in the bottom pan. Daily stirring keeps the fresh pellets in the top pan and eliminates any odors. Then we just toss the liner weekly.Before we got this litter box one of our cats would constantly pee on the bathmats on our bathroom floor. I had gotten a separate hamper and lots of bathmats that I would wash weekly. Now he pees in the litter box.The only drawbacks are that sometimes a few pellets get stuck in the scoop, and sometimes the cats will kick a few pellets out of the box. This is minor compared to having to wash stinky urine soaked bathmats every week. I much prefer this to a litter robot, first because it’s much less expensive & second because it still allows me to observe my cats’ bathroom habits to monitor their health. Highly recommend this box.

This is one of the best quality products I have ever gotten on Amazon. The make, the attention to details and the material quality of the box and accessories was refreshingly good! I would 100% buy from this company again and buy this product again if I could get my cats to use pine litter. I had to send this back because my cats struggled with pine-litter, but I still need to give credit to a good product, one I would have gladly kept and used! For the month long trial, this was great!

Not a magic box, but still very good, all natural, and dust free
This is an excellent quality little box. The thing you should know is that in order to use it, you do need to use pellet litter like it comes with. It doesn’t need to be the same brand since there are a lot of these, but it does need to be pelleted pine (or maybe they make some out of other kinds of wood) that breaks down when your cat uses it. This is because the sifting part of the litter box will only work with litter that breaks apart in this way when it is wet.The way it works is that this box has two stainless steel layers: a solid part in the bottom, and then a sifting layer that rests over that with a gap underneath. You put the litter pellets in the top, and when your cat uses the box, the pellets break apart and fall down through the grate. You scoop out solid waste with a litter scoop. It’s a decent system, but keep in mind that the litter breaks down gradually with repeated use before falling down the grate, so it is really a system that keeps things from being totally filthy rather than perfectly clean. The pellets do a good job of absorbing and somewhat isolating the urine waste before they fall apart, but there are various stages of this, and there will be residue of some kind that gets on the clean pellets. It isn’t like a clumping litter that lets you take almost all of it out–although admittedly, those have varying levels of success totally isolating things too.Ironically, I think this box might work better for multiple cat households, since then the pellets will have a faster turnover rate, and urine residue won’t be staying in the box for so long. But if you want the litter box to be sparkling clean all the time (as I guess I do), then you will have to come to terms with the fact that you are just not going to be able to isolate all the urine and scoop it out like with a clumping litter.The reason I still think this system has its place is because we can’t use the clumping litter anymore for health reasons. I have been diagnosed with an illness that causes breathing problems, and the clumping litters all create too much dust that gets in the air. I have tried the so-called “dust free” ones as well, and they aren’t dust free as far as I can tell. So it’s either pellets or that grass litter, which is actually pretty nice, but has no clumping or sifting ability as far as urine is concerned. So this was the best option available, and I have to say, it is a decent compromise. It’s all natural, dust free, and it keeps the waste separate from the unused litter as well as can be expected while keeping to the laws of physics, which sadly do not allow removal of waste by magic.

Your cats need this and they will love you for it. It’s big enough for big cats. Nothing sticks to it, like it does on cheap plastic ones where you might as well be hammering at cement. This is so easy to clean it practically cleans itself. My cats and I love it, b/c we are both anal about having a smell free home.
