This set does not disappoint, the shears are all very sharp and come in a variety of angles. I love that the handles have finger loops with finger rests for added grip stability and precision when using. The vinyl, zip up case makes travel or storing a breeze.

These dog grooming shears are not bad. I purchased another set prior on Amazon that were terrible. The weight and comfort of these shears are really good and the fact that they have a tension knob for tightening is a must! I’ve seen other sets that use a key in order to adjust tension….. do not buy them. They are terrible. This set comes in a really nice, well made case and the fact that they have the sizing rings is a huge bonus. All in all I would make this purchase again. I only gave them four stars because they could stand to be a tad bit sharper. They are definitely sharp enough, but I’m also a former hair stylist so I’m probably comparing them a bit to the sharpness of what I’m used too. Worth the buy.

Better than I expected for temporary thinners, now these are my go to.
I’m a groomer and I needed another pair of thinners for when mine were being sharpened so I got these and another pair of shorter ones, and now that I have my original thinners back from the sharpener I seem to still grab these ones over the others lol they blend beautifully.

I bought these scissors for home grooming of my Havenese. I use mainly the straight and curved scissors to give my dog a puppy cut. I use these two scissors to do daily maintenance on my dog. The scissors are sharper and better quality that my previous pet store scissors. They cut with less effort. I am also experimenting with the chunker and thinning shears. The finger inserts that came with the scissors help give a better sizing (i.e. fit) to my hands. I am happy with my purchase of this scissor set.
