Not only for cats, but great for fabrics at end of cutting table!
Boy, another great find for my sewing area! I don’t have cats, but I knew this was going to be a useful item over at my cutting table. Easy enough to assemble. First I put the basket on with the sporty ventilated knit side up. No. Needs to hang down. Item is quite heavy. Feels very sturdy even when I loaded it up with fabric. Clamps and screw knobs work well. It looks great on the end of my cutting table, black blends nicely with everything. I can adjust the height if needed. Probably will leave it at full height so I can keep the cutting table free. Very easy to swing, my fabric fit in fine and it can hold a ton of it without any kind of sagging. I would like to have a couple more of these for near my sewing machines and other places. I would recommend these not only for cat owners, but for all the sewers and quilters out there!

Nice, but smaller than I thought…
I work from home a couple days a week, and when I am here all 3 of my cats want to sit with me. Unfortunately, they can’t all fit on my desk, so I figured I’d give this a try.The device is very easy to assemble and it is very easy to install on your desk or table. It feels very solid, and very secure, so there is no need to worry about it falling off, or becoming unattached with your cat in it.The only real problem that I have with this “cat hammock” is that it is too small. My smallest cat is a little over 10 pounds, and she can’t really fit comfortably into the mesh fabric. Initially, she was very eager to give it a try, but in the end you could see that she just could not get comfortable. So, no problem with quality or design, but take a look at the measurements and make sure your cat will fit!

    My Cat loves it!
My cat Maggie has Work Meeting Radar and always seems to know when I am about to jump into a meeting. She will sit at my feet and meow until I let her jump into my lap. I’ve had many a call with her tail going right past my face. I needed to give her a comfy place to lay down and still be next to me. She Loves It!!! (I think I startled her in one of the pics). She stayed in it through my entire meeting, I was still able to give her attention with out her walking past my camera during my meeting. This Cat Desk Bed is super easy to put together, no tools necessary. I love the adjustability of the height and the bed position. The part that clamps to my desk doesn’t interfere with my keyboard drawer and is easy to tighten or loosen. I feel it’s a nice safe place for her to still be with me, be comfy and not need to jump in my lap during my meetings.I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to give their cat a super comfy place to lay down and still be next to you and not disturb your work day.

Easy to put together and mount, my cats love it
This Desk bed was easy to assembly, and to attached to the desk. It feel very sturdy, and because of the design I am not worried about my cats falling or the bed coming off the frame. It is easy to adjust to whatever position you want. So far out of the 4 cats I have at least 2 of them have used it a number of times. They like it for when we are at the desk to be able to be close to us. We like it because it allows them to be close without being right on the desk and in the way. Over all I am very happy with it and would get it again.

    Poorly engineered cat bed
I was quite disappointed by this cat bed. Where to begin… design/engineering. This bed fails to impress. The arm that extends from the vertical support pole is very short. While you can move the bed to a different position, it’s not long enough to actually be functional. Wherever that support pole is, that’s where the bed will be.There are 2 hand screw tighteners to lock in the height of the arm to the support pole, and also for the car bed “basket.” This is another design failure. The tighteners must remain in-place, so because of that, they should be smaller. Unfortunately, you have to turn them to tighten and where it stops is where it is. For the cat bed location, it was in the straight up position, which protruded through the very thin bed. The support pole one sticks out to where I would bump into it.The “basket” portion has 1 pin for each side, and even though they lock into place, it’s not a secure connection. It wobbles and for something that needs to be stable, that is a deal breaker. Another thing, the basket should be level, but it was tilted higher the further away from the arm.Bottomline, this is something that disappointed at everything.

    Cat Desk Bed
Best thing ever! My cat usually jumps onto the window by my desk to stare out into the abyss. This has made it so she’s close by me, gets petted while I’m on my work calls, and can still see out the window! The mesh is really soft for her to go into and she loves feeling high up. This also has helped with losing a cat- we’ve felt more closely connected because we can reach & see our other cat on this cute desk bed!

Nice, but could have been better
I work from home frequently and have a VERY clingy cat. I got this thinking the cat could be right by me while I work, making her happy and freeing me up from constantly holding her. The problem is that she never really took to this. After trying different places/heights/set-ups, I kinda understand why. First of all, the wood that the cat bed sits on isn’t one full piece. It’s two pieces placed together. I think one piece would have made it more sturdy. For the bed on top, the sides are pretty flimsy, meaning that the cat can’t really lean against it without feeling like they are going to fall off. And, finally, the adjustable clamp arm wasn’t as sturdy as I would have linked. I screwed it in as hard as I could, yet with use it would start to tilt down. Obviously not very safe for the cat. I tried everything I could think of to make this work. And I know cats are picky … sometimes there’s no explanation for what they like/don’t like. But with this bed, I could understand why she wouldn’t use it.
