Cat loves it!
I liked that it had a cool pattern and the color was blue was pretty. My cat loves it. We sprinkle some greenies and temptations treats in and she does her puzzle!I disliked that it was a bit easy for my cat to figure out, but that is subjective. You also couldn’t really change the pattern with the pegs as to many different forms of a different puzzle as I have found with other cat puzzles that have the same concept.

Me and some of my cats figured it out
The Gd Salian Interactive cat toy puzzle box arrived in a picture covered box. The puzzle required some assembly of the dome and the taller inner pieces. I agree with the other reviewer in that the lack of instructions made it a bit more puzzling for the human at first but once I determined that the two tall pieces have to be in the center in order for the dome to fit on top it was easy. I used every piece that it came with. The pegs can be removed and moved around anywhere but the taller pieces and angled pieces are more limited and need to be set up in specific places. The dome has ridges on the inside in two places that also match up with the base so the top is not going to be easy for cats to take apart. I filled this with my cats’ favorite treats and let them have a go. They were all quite interested in it at first with some cats trying to stuff their heads in the bigger holes. A small kitten may be able to squeeze their head inside so I will strongly suggest supervising smaller cats/kittens with this. After a few minutes of frustration some of my cats wandered off but a couple of my determined cats stuck around to figure it out. These cats were able to get the treats out. Overall, I’m happy with this mental challenge game. An instruction sheet or at least some instructional pictures on the outside would have made it easier on me but it the end it worked out okay and I had to use my brain as well.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

A puzzle for cats and humans
This seems… okay? The puzzle seems sturdy enough, it’s quite big, about 11 inches in diameter. It’s quite big compared to cats, and takes up a fair bit of room in the living room. With the clear dome, I found it promising at first. If you have smart cats, you know the importance of keeping them occupied. But this has absolutely no instruction manual, so maybe it’s because we’ve never used one before, but it’s not at all intuitive to set up. We did our best, and I think it’s supposed to be changeable so you can set up different puzzles for them each time, but the inner pieces wouldn’t fit otherwise like I thought. And it’s probably because she’s well fed and spoiled, but the cat didn’t really engage after a few tries, despite her favorite catnip biscuits being put in. I think both humans and cats need to practice more before we can enjoy this hah. And while okay, it hasn’t been as good as we hoped.
