Entertaining Dispenser Toy That Works Best in Small Doses
This is a fun, engaging cat toy that keeps my feline companions moving and entertained—at least for a while. The wobble design is clever, with a nice weighted base that keeps the toy upright no matter how enthusiastically it’s batted. I really appreciate that there are no batteries or charging cords—this toy is entirely cat-powered, which makes it more convenient and quieter to use than motorized alternatives. The treat dispenser is the main attraction, but you do have to be cautious about how much you load at once. If you fill it up, the treats will spill out quickly with just one swipe, which can turn the game into a free-for-all snackfest. I’ve found that loading one or two treats at a time keeps the challenge alive and prevents my cat from losing interest too quickly. The toy is also larger than I expected, but the size and stability actually help it stand up to rough play. The teaser wand on top is a nice touch—it’s bouncy and lively, though the strings could be more durable. After a few play sessions, they started to fray, and the wand did pop out once or twice, so I had to wedge it in more securely. That said, it still manages to hold attention, especially with more food-motivated cats. For best results, I recommend using this toy as an occasional interactive treat challenge rather than leaving it out all the time. It keeps the toy feeling new and exciting and avoids overfeeding.Overall, it’s a well-designed toy that adds some fun and exercise to my cat’s routine—just use it in moderation and with small treats. I hope you found this review helpful!

Good low-tech toy
The first thing you need to understand is that this is not a battery operated toy. It is entirely cat powered. I missed that part and so was a little disappointed when I took it out of the box and couldn’t find a power button or charging cord. That’s on me. But this toy does everything as advertised. It’s a little Weeble of a ball that always keeps its strings upright. It rolls nicely across hard floors and struggles a bit on carpet, but still goes. The wire shakes, the strings jiggle and some treats come out. Bear in mind that you have to use very small treats, nothing large like Temptations and the rest. The cats were fascinated with it for about ten minutes, until all the treats ran out and then they just ignored it for the rest of the time. I can say that it’s durable because I tripped over it running for the doorbell and sent it crashing across the house. LOL All in all, a good toy for older and more timid cats who might be intimidated by a flashing crashing motorized ball.

I liked it. Our cat may just be boring
The toy seemed nice but to be fair we are trying different things to get our cat to play for a reason. she just doesn’t play that much and this was no exception. I have little doubt that a normally playful cat could have a blast with this – but not ours

Kitty loves it…
The GES Interactive Cat Toy with Food Dispenser – Tumbler Design, High-Bounce Teaser Wand, Stress Relief for Indoor Cats is loved by kitty. Our kitty came from a home with three other cats, so needless to say they kept each other preoccupied. In this new place he is the only cat, so he needs a bit more playtime than the average indoor kitty. This is now a favorite toy. This thing bounces and rolls around all while the teaser wand is swinging. Kitty rolls and jumps around playing with it. We only put treats in it once, the treats just fall out of it, so we just prefer to do treats by hand. But he loves it! Overall, it certainly adds to some stress relief and entertainment for kitty …. and for me. 🙂

Fun, but may not last long
It can be a struggle to give my cats toys that keep them entertained on their own for a while. I’ve seen others have success with these treat balls, so decided to try one. I really like that this one is all completely driven by the cat- No batteries and no USB recharging. It’s already kept them entertained, especially my cat that is very food motivated. My only issues are with the top piece that hangs down like a tail and is what attracts the cat initially to the ball and allows them to tip it to get the treats out. First, the tail strings are attached to a stick which fits inside a rubber holder on the top of the ball. However, I really had to push it in, almost so hard that I thought I was going to break it, to get it to stay. It’s still fallen out twice already. The other is the durability of the tail strings. Attached to the photo. This is after just 24 hours of play. I doubt it’s going to last long. I shouldn’t have to buy replacements once a week and if the toy were to be a good value, it would come with three or four replacements already. If the strings were made with a more durable material and the stick was more stable, I would really love this.

It broke the same day.
My cats are easily amused…and love any toy that holds treats that they can ‘hunt’. Unfortunately, this was a disappointment for me & for them. The hole for the treats is basically just a tunnel. With the first swipe of their paw the toy tipped forward and everything poured out. The spring was tweaked on the teaser and I was unable to bend it all the way back into place. The cats did seem to enjoy playing with it for a while, but only a few hours later I found one of them staring down at it confused, as the top had already broken off. Sadly, another one goes into the abandoned toy(s) bin.

Dispenses handfuls at a time
The major problem is it dispenses too much at a time. Once Howie figured it out, he lost interest because it wasn’t a challenge with a reward at the end. I thought it would be.Product is very well made, and would probably work for dog treats that are larger than kitty treats.. It rolls along the floor like a glider, doesn’t have to be charged (yay), and has a teasing tassel. All good things, but not enough to overshadow the plentiful dispensing.
