Sturdy and easy to assemble
I purchased this cat tree because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. When it arrived in the mail is a very tiny box, I was nervous (see photo). As I’d guessed the top and bottom were folded in half. There was no break in the carpet on top. You might think that would make the cat tree unstable. But as soon as the posts are added to connect the top and bottom panels, it’s perfectly sturdy. Some cat trees are notorious for being difficult to assemble with a mind-numbing number of pieces and holes that never line up with screws. This tree was so easy to put together. Everything lined up on the first try. Still on the fence? I’m blind. It was really, really easy! I have a cat that weighs 11.4 lbs. This tree looks big enough for him.This tree was to replace one that was in bad shape. For the past few weeks, there was a small towel in the old cat tree that I’ve moved over to the perch on the new tree. That helps it smell more welcoming. Has my cat used it yet? Of course not, he’s a cat. He’s sitting precariously on the box it came in.I’m impressed with the quality of this cat tree. I’d highly recommend it.

As shown and great for the price
We bought two. They are as shown. The center part doesn’t have a pad and is like two layers of carpet but no biggie.We have three regular sized cats (10lbs) and they fit fine. One cat immediately started scratching on the posts, even as we were assembling them….Easy to assemble.

This is very sturdy and great I put it together in three minutes with the screws and they even give you a little wrench. I don’t think it’s a wrench. It’s something else like a L shape that fits into the screws and you turn it. The cover is nice and soft on the top and the scratching poles are great for the price. It’s well worth it. thank you.

Cat Approved… Finally.
My cat was clearly mad at me when I took her old, ripped up scratching post and put it in the basement and got her this new one… She wouldn’t go near the new one for at least 1-2 weeks… I would bring her over to it and try to get her to scratch it or sit on it and she would act like it was poison or something and desperately try to get away from it… It was really weird. But right as I was going to send it back, I found her scratching it… Then, over the next couple days, I found her scratching it more and more… And then I found her sitting on it, for just a minute… But then, over time, she became more and more comfortable with it… I now find her sleeping on it quite often, which is the cutest thing ever, as you can see in the picture. So I guess we’ll keep it… I only gave it 4 stars because it took her quite a while to warm up to it… Now that she is, it’s the highlight of my day to see her curled up on it.

Perfect for kittens!
Very sturdy and stable. Had my daughter sit on it (she’s 17, 5’1” and 111lbs) and it held her just fine. Perfect size for my 8 week old kitten! I don’t think he’ll fit in it as he gets bigger but can’t beat the price for something he loves for at least 2 months
