Big help.
Our new puppy has separation anxiety when we leave the house. She screams and whines and it hurts my heart to hear her. I ordered this hoping it would keep her busy and maybe not be so afraid. I fill each hole with a treat and she works hard on it. She loves it and so do I. It’s made well and colorful and fun.

Fun & Engaging
My dog absolutely loves this puzzle toy! She gets so excited every time I bring it out. It doesn’t take her very long to solve, but she still has a great time and it’s a fun way to keep her mentally stimulated. Definitely worth it for a little enrichment and entertainment.

Small Bites Only
I’ve purchased several puzzles in the past few months and my dog loves working on them, but this puzzle/dog toy isn’t as easily filled as most of the other puzzles and it holds only the smallest treats or bit of food. I have been using puzzles to feed my fast eating puppy her breakfast and none of the pieces fit in this puzzle. If you feed your dog soft food, this would be perfect though or even a small kibble, but if you choose petfresh or any food with larger pieces of meat and vegetable it isn’t a good fit. The over all functionality and quality is great, but it doesn’t fit with our needs. It’s cute, heavy enough that my twelve pound pup can’t flip it over and steal the food or treats… but her food just isn’t going to fit in this and since she’s a chunk we aren’t currently doing many treats. This will be a puzzle we use more in the future though.

Great beginner puzzle
This is a great beginner puzzle and suitable for flat-faced breeds. My dogs are very different personality-wise. One can’t wait to aggressively do the puzzles and the other sits by and watches. It does occupy them both for 5-10 solid minutes. The dog who seems uninterested double checks the more interested dog to make sure he found every last crumb.

Great Challenge for Aussie
Just got this for my 2 year old Australian Shepherd . He loved it right away. I set him up with the easy ones first but he figured the easy ones out right away so I put treats in all the slots. It took him about 5 minutes of diligently pursuing the puzzle but he ended up with all the treats. Now when he sees the puzzle he gets excited. A great, inexpensive toy for my dog.I also have a 9 year old Border Collie who was sort of interested until it got to the challenging parts and she decided she didn’t really care so much about the treats in the hard to get pockets.

Shiba ‘figured it out’ too quickly
If your dog is known to be ‘intelligent’, there’s a chance they’ll figure this out very quickly. No matter where I place the treat its all gone within 3-4 minutes, took about 3 days to really learn it for my Shiba Inu. But otherwise its worth trying I guess.

Fun entertainment for your dog
My five year old dog immediately went to this is puzzle. She could smell the hidden treats and became focused on getting them. It kept her busy and she seemed to be having fun trying to figure out how to slide the pieces to access the treats. The pieces are designed to easily slide either vertically or horizontally. The round button in the middle squeaks which really peaks my dog’s interest. So far she has not tried to chew the puzzle. However if you have a heavy chewer I recommend closely watching your dog with this toy. This seems to be a quality toy to keep your dog’s brain engaged while they are having fun.

This puzzle is challenging without being too frustrating. I use it for treats and my girl (Shih Tzu) finds it both engaging and rewarding

Lucy found the puzzle quite easy. She is a highly intelligent shepherd mix and it only took her minutes to figure out. We started out with treats and she enjoyed it. When I used only kibble she threw it across the room in protest. Because of her breed she already uses nose to open things like the door of dog wash etc. other breeds may find this harder. I would recommend trying the puzzle for indoor enrichment. It’s well made and decent price.
