Works fo alternate usage (floor protection)
I bought these kitty wee pads to protect the floor in front of the litter boxes. My 15 yo female cat has a tendency to urinate in front of the litter box (arthritis or hatred of the new stray cat). She happily urinates on these pads now. The surface of the pad is indeed dry and the pad is overall very absorbent. When I walk nearby I do not smell anything so the absorbtion must be locking a lot of the smell. My two other cats do not mind the pads.I think it is a really good value for the money and I will buy again.

SAVE MONEY!
I have four cats and more economic than the TCBS pads; these work extremely well in the Tidy Cat Breeze System.

Good quality
I have two cats one is a senior and stays indoors all the time and pees a lot. These pads are good for three or four day. Same quality is the ones from tidy can’t breeze only much cheaper and they never smell. I try to cheaper pad on Amazon and I may as well have been using newspaper it was horrible. These suckers work!

Perfect!
Oh wonderful! My cat tends to hang her butt over the edge o her litter pan even though it’s a large pan and I was so tired of cleaning the floor. These are perfect. It’s nice and thick and really helps keep the floor clean of puddles.

They work, but not quite as well as other pee pads, and cost a bit more
I used to use the Breeze system exclusively for years, until we ended up with a run of rescue kitties that all simply refuse to go in the Breeze pellets. By far my own biggest complaint about the Breeze system is the cost of the name-brand pee pads.Fast forward a bit, and we have one cat with partially broken spine, paralyzed tail, and little awareness of their bladder needs. For the sake of this one, I started spreading pee pads around the basement in an effort to protect the several areas she would often get to, from getting soaked. Turns out that Breeze-sized pads are a good option for this, and for some time I’ve been using the “essentials” branded pads as the long-term best value in large quantities. So when I saw these, figured it was worth giving them a shot to see if they performed any better. The first thing I noticed about these, as compared to Breeze or “essential” branded pads, is that the layers aren’t bonded together in any way. In the photo, on the left is the “essentials” brand pad I’ve been using for a while, with an obvious hatch pattern stamped into them that bonds the absorbent layers together and keeps all the liquid inside that material. On the right are these pee pads, with no obvious pattern at all. Picking at it even just a little, as a cat might with their claws, and the absorbent material separates easily. My concern with this is that should the pad become really soaked, liquid could more easily seep out.The other thing I noticed is that the border around these pee pads has an obvious “flocked” feel to it. What this means is that moisture near the edges will spread out from the absorbent material and into the border around it, as seen in Blue on this brand’s pad on the right. This means that when picking up a really soaked pee pad, it can be difficult to find a dry edge to pick it up with, so stuff you don’t want can get on your fingers. The border on the “essentials” pad on the left can get wet if sprayed directly, but liquid doesn’t spread into it from the pad part, making it much neater to handle.Overall, these pee pads will work in a pinch, but they cost almost twice as much as as the “essentials” brand pads (when purchased in quantity) and in my opinion, don’t work quite as well, so I’m not sure the value is there for most people. These might be a decent option if there’s a coupon or sale, though.

Great for cats
I use these like pee pads under traps for the feral cats I TNR. They are very absorbent and do a good job woth odor. One pad is big enough and absorbent enough for me to leave under a trap for 1-3 days if needed. Good value for the money woth lots of pads per pack and very absorbent.

Happy cats
Seems to work as well as the name brand and a better value.
