Durable, well-made, multi-cat, versatile for floor or window, solid wood hammock w/removable cushion
This window cat hammock is a fan favorite with my four cats. It is made from thick, sturdy wood and suction cups so strong they could be used for a safety railing in the shower. It was easy to put together, and the bed cushion is easy to remove for the washing machine. It can also be used as a floor hammock, and it is easy to transition from the window to the floor. It is spacious and stable enough for my giant cats to cuddle together. I have a special needs cat, a tripod (three-legged), and he loves it the most, so I keep this one on the floor. I have towers in front of my windows, but I love that I have the option to move it to the window when the real estate opens up, making this versatile and durable piece of furniture well worth the $40. I would have thought it was hand-made by my local woodworker at the farmer’s market. This is a great value purchase that will last for many years.

I’ve had this “Wonder Family Foldable Window Perch for Cats Inside” for 2 and a half weeks now and it hasn’t fallen off my window even with 4 different cats using it. Only 1 cat doesn’t use it, not sure why, but possibly because she’s a senior cat at 10 years old and she’d have to cross a small gap by either jumping a short jump but I’ve seen my smaller cat reach it by just stretching out and extending her front paws out to it. My cats range in weight from 7 pounds to over 11 pounds. I’d never ordered one of these before because I was skeptical that just suction cups would be enough to keep the perch from falling off the window. I also wasn’t sure my cats would use it, because they have 2 other window areas that we made on either side of the picture window, that I feel are “better” because the windows in front of those 2 areas can be opened to let the fresh air and smells from outside in. The perch is suction-cupped to the picture window, which can’t be opened, but I’m guessing they like it because of the more comfortable bed, and/or because it’s a warmer place to bask in the sun. Just make sure your surfaces are clean before applying the suction cups. We cleaned the window glass with a window cleaner, then rubbing alcohol, and also wiped the suction cups with rubbing alcohol, being careful not to touch those surfaces afterwards, to prevent skin oils from getting on them. The perch was priced at $24.90 at the time I ordered it, and at time of this review (4/17/25) is selling for $39.99 with a 50% off coupon, which equals $20, which I feel is very reasonable for the quality of the cat window perch, because it appears to be made from solid wood pieces. I hope this review was helpful for other cat parents!

Human and Cats Love Our Window Perch!
I have cats that like to be up off the ground and I’m running out of places for them to curl up and nap (I have a rescue for cats). I also have a sunroom with lots of windows that the cats love to look out of so this kills 2 birds with 1 stone (no pun intended). It took some time figuring out how to assemble this cat perch but I think this was more my fault than the fault of the instructions. Once I figured it out it was pretty easy to assemble and to hang onto the window. I had my doubts if this would hold my “fatter” cats but it doesn’t budge or sag from their weight at all. It’s really well made and I like the natural wood it’s made of. I also like that if your cat doesn’t feel comfortable or interested in laying in the perch while hanging in the window, you can simply place it on the floor. It has legs that raises it up off the ground. It hung in the window for some time before any of the cats took interest in it but once they figured it out they sleep in it, sit and look out the window in it, and move around on it without any problems. Great window seat
I have to admit, I was a bit gun shy about hanging this directly on the window. My plan was to hang it so that it’s feet were also resting against the wall (which you can do!) but you have to keep your window closed as the hooks need to rest in your window sill and I planned to put this in my bedroom window which I regularly keep open. So the other option was, suction cups. Now I’d had one before that was a suction cup one and it held the first time. But that was it. It came crashing down, so I was not holding out high hopes for another one that was purely held on by suction cups. But I was surprised! This has been up for over a week now and hasn’t budged an inch.Now the assembly on the other hand was….not…difficult per se, but it wasn’t super easy either. This wasn’t something I got done in 10 minutes. Probably somewhere between 30-45 if I were to guess. Some of that includes cleaning a pretty dirty window. All the holes lined up though and everything fit together the way it should. It came with an allen wrench so you don’t need to search for tools. I don’t know how much my cat uses it since there’s a curtain that hangs over it but he pops out from around the curtain often enough that I think he likes it.
