I chose to use the arm console in my middle row of 3 seats in an Acura MDX for placement of this dog car seat. The dog console bed fits perfectly. The last picture shows how the back end of it tucked perfectly into the armrest niche. I wasn’t too sure about the elastic straps to secure it around the console, thinking in case of an accident, they may give. But they fastened very securely. I chose the center seat console so that the carrier had a backstop to it. The tethered leash is attached to the back of the bed, so it would be loose if you hit the brakes, the dog could fly backward. It would be better if the tether were attached in the middle, not allowing the dog to go beyond the front or back of the bed. The sides are higher & I’d think block most sideways movement. The black area on the front & back of the car seat are pads. My dog rarely sits or lies down in the car. I imagine him standing on this. I did not try to use this as a carrier beyond inside my house. He is 5# and easily shifted off balance. The console bed is the function for which I was interested in this product. It comes with straps on either side and a velcro wrap to join them to be used as a carrier. Both the clip and the fastening end to the tether are metal. It is very important not to be plastic as I’ve had my dog disconnect from a plastic clasp in a near accident. He flew out of the carrier! The material that the car seat is made from is a felt covered sturdy cardboard or plastic. It is rigid. I’ve included multiple pictures of the product with my 5# yorkie as a model and the Huggie Pup for scale as I did not have a banana. If you are looking for a sturdy console car seat, I feel this model is well made & the price is fitting for its versatility. It would be perfect if the tether was center positioned. The carrier zips together and can be unzipped for storage or compact transport. If used in the front seat, the dog would have perfect visibility.

This has somewhat limited options for securing in your car
Once assembled, this car seat can be attached to a locking center console or used as a carrying case for a well-behaved dog. It a bit snug for our 13 lb. dog. I like that the leash is off to one side so that I can install it to prevent my dog from interfering with the driver. I would not attach it to a non-locking armrest due to the risk of flipping backwards when the dog moves its weight toward the back seat which, should that occur, could be harmful to the dog that is leashed into this car seat. Alternatively, this could be placed on the passenger seat and secured with the seat belt (see photo). I like that the liner is removable and machine washable but it does have a tendency to fold inward.

It attached to my Toyota 4 Runner console easily. Made of a material that feels like thick felt & a soft insert pad that doesn’t connect to the sides. My Shi Tzu loves it.

My cat hates to leave the house, but I noticed she took very quickly to this pet seat. Easy installation and set up although the zippers were a little stuck initially. YUDODO large pet seat is very spacious and comes with an additional soft lining for ultimate pet comfort. Good Car Seat for Corgi Puppy
I got this carrier for my corgi puppy. He’s currently 8-weeks-old and only 5.5 pounds so easily fits. The carrier was easy to assemble in a few minutes. It took about 5 minutes to finagle the straps to fit in our BMW iX SUV, which has a double-door armrest. I like that there’s a built-in “seat-belt” to attach to my dog’s collar.The primary reason I’m giving 4* and not 5* is that the included cushion doesn’t stay up. It should really have some sort of velcro to keep the sides from collapsing. I gave up and just folded it over to make it a flat cushion instead of a U-shape.However, it will probably be a little while before my little puppy can actually sit still enough to use this seat effectively, so just keep that in mind before you purchase!

No more dogs sitting in my lap!
I love my dogs, and I take them with me quite a bit. But what I don’t love is when the small ones decide, they should sit in my lap when I drive. This is not only dangerous to them, but also to me. So I absolutely love this Little center console doggy car seat. It fits perfectly between my seats, and is a comfortable place for the pups to sit while I drive. They are still close to me, but not sitting in my lap. I like that the car seat can also double as a carrier and or a travel bed for the smaller dogs. And I like that it fits nicely on top of the console and the dogs can be secured. This is definitely a must have for anyone who likes to travel with their smaller dogs!

Great for the car
This doesn’t fit in the center console of my civic, but I got it to keep in the passenger seat anyway, so it’s fine.Got this to cart around foster kittens to appointments and get them comfortable with the car. My full grown cats loved it while I was putting it together.I accidentally zipped it up the wrong way at first (the solid gray part goes on the inside), but once I figured it out, all was well. I would have maybe liked to see velcro or something to hold the cusion in, but I was able to kind of wedge it in the corners.I think it’ll be great for what I need.
