I have nine (yes 9) little cats running around my house. These candles smell so good and can disguise a lot of smells. I have them in the living room, kitchen, bedroom and ‘litter’ room – they not only cover cat odors but I have aversion to many cooking food smells and this candle takes care of them all. Random stains on the candle…
Smell smells amazing, but when I opened the top, I had these stains on the top of my candle, which are kind of suspicious, but I’m gonna wipe them off and use the candle anyway. Also the paint on the side of the candle is scuffed.

Definitely mild but really helps with cat box odor without masking it with a heavier smell.
The scent is indeed mild as other reviewers have stated, but it does work. I have two cats; between them we go through 6 Fancy Feast cans per day. That’s a lot of output too. Until SOMEONE comes out with a cat litter that controls odor (all are guaranteed, NONE work), I will use these candles. Why? My grandson, currently 13, always alerts me in no uncertain terms if he smells bad odors in my home. One day he came over just after I had lit the candle and then cleaned the cat box which, of course, stirs up the smell. He passed through the same room and remarked that it smelled GOOD. Now, I don’t believe any spray or candle cleans the air or actually removes odor-causing particles from it. My theory is that the candle emits something that blocks our noses’ ability to recognize the stink. If that’s what it does, fine and dandy. It works for me! The only adverse effect is that after burning for about half an hour, I notice some dryness in my throat and develop a slight cough as one does from an allergy. Once the candle is out, no more issues. By then, it has already done its work. since I started using this candle, the company has released a version specifically for cats so I’m cancelling my subscription for this and trying the one for cats!

We have used this candle a couple of times and find that it really is a pleasant scent. We have two pugs and two cats to pet odor can be annoying no matter how much we clean. Pleasantly surprised at it’s effectiveness.
