My birds love it! I had to smooth the metal as some parts were a little sharp. The wood is not too thick; it looks great in my aviary, and most importantly, the birds approve!

This product is a great nesting box for budgies. I got this nesting box because i am trying to breed my budgies. The box is very sturdy and built well. The assembly was pretty easy, but i do recommend a extra set of hands to help. My female budgie is trying to lay and she likes it. I do recommend getting coconut fiber for your birds safety and the eggs. I really love the clear plastic panel, I honestly picked this product because of that. I love to see my bird trying to lay and soon the raising of the baby budgies

Great little nesting box
Bought this because my cockatiels decided to have a family. The box is quality and plenty big for two cockatiels to enter and tend to baby chicks. My male cockatiel didn’t care much for the wooden bar in the middle or outside so he removed them. Cleaning the box was easy when baby poop piled up. It was also awesome to be able to watch them grow from the window in the back. Great little nesting box for sure.

Box cheaply made
I had ordered the size Medium initially but quickly realized it was too small for my growing cockatiels. I decided to order the XL size, expecting the same craftsmanship. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. One end of the box was separated and the other end of the box, they must have miscut, and put small pieces of wood to “fix’ it. I will need to fix the end that isn’t laying plush. Also – the screws & washers to hang the nest in the cage are rusty and old looking. I wish I had time for a replacement box. Very disappointed in the quality this time around.
