Helps with the ammonia smell
The box is long and wide but could be a bit deeper. I don’t know if it is the brand of clumping cat litter I use or because of the box being metal. But, the litter is not clumping very well. It is just more noticeable now with the metal box. Will try different brands. I don’t have any ammonia smell so far. My old plastic litter box most definitely gave off the strong ammonia from the urine. And I don’t hear my cat scratching the bottom like crazy anymore. It is a pricey. Glad I took the risks and got a slightly damaged box. I will most likely look for a less expensive metal litter box to replace my other 4 plastic litter boxes if the smell of ammonia doesn’t start after a few months of using this litter box.

Vents are too open and can cause paws to get stuck
It was good for my cat until her back paw got stuck on the top vents and she hurt herself. My cat is already a year and a few months and big enough for this box but the vents are to wide

Great quality and packaging is very well done.
It’s plenty big! Great quality too. It comes with a nice scooper and a nice litter catcher. I am very pleased with the quality of the stainless steel. The cover and all that comes with it is good quality too. No complaints here. I’m not using the top cover or the flap because I don’t like to confine my cats. They don’t like it either. I’ve done research on enclosed boxes. I mainly got this because I needed additional high sided boxes for my “elevator pee’er” 7 month old beautiful little girl. Works very well for this. I now have 3 of these great boxes. Highly recommend.
