This is a set of 3 cat toy wands. The stick is made of smooth plastic, and the ribbon is securely attached. The ribbon is sturdy, though it does fray a little at the end. My cat Stacey is 14, has low vision, and not very playful, but she likes playing with these for a few minutes (which is great for her). Even though her vision is somewhat impaired, I think she can see and feel the movement of the ribbon, which she likes biting.The ribbons are quite sturdy, but still, I think it’s best not to leave this toy out, as a cat might chew on it and swallow a piece of it.
