This bed is awesome. My dog received one as a Christmas present and I thought ‘oh no’. Before this bed she had 4, of which she would only use 1. She is laying on the original even as type. I bought her a second one for downstairs so I don’t have to carry it back and forth.First – the dog in question is a 38 lb 13 year old Shiba Inu.Second- things that are great are that the bed is firm egg crate. It has no bolsters or added items for an arthritic dog (see above) to have to navigate. We have the green which is a beautiful olive green and the gray which is charcoal gray. Easy to remove cover and wash.Third – the bed and cover are going to come in a box and you are going to think ‘dang it they sent the wrong thing’ because the box is so small. They did not. Well, they may have but probably not.Fourth, the price is great for a bed this size and quality.Winner!

I bought this to replace a thinner crate bed, even though I got it a little to small (my fault) my big guy loves his new bed, and actually chooses to go lay in the crate for more than sleeping and will just chill in there on his new bed, and he hasn’t even tried to eat it or destroy it like some of the other beds.I will be buying another for my other dog but bigger lol

Zipper hardware failed, company replaced immediately
Zipper broke apart on initial assembly.Update: the manufacturer reached out quickly and offered a refund or a replacement bed, without returning the first one. Changing my rating to 5 stars for this level of customer service. Will adjust again if needed when the new bed arrives. I’ve used this product before with good results, which is why I bought a new one as a replacement.

Very cute design, great quality for the price too! I got the 30 x 20 mattress for a 30×21 dog crate and it was a PERFECT fit! I absolutely recommend this dog bed!! If you want quick disclaimers just scroll to the very bottom.Support/comfort:I will say if you are looking for a firm bed this is not what you are looking for, it’s a semi thin mattress that was able to fit into a box the size of a shoe box. It does have decent support, but I would not recommend this as a bed for an older dog.Putting it together:I did have a bit of trouble fitting the mattress into the insert as the mattress was slightly bigger than the insert, but after a bit of struggle it worked fine! It was super simple to put together and the mattress inflated almost right away after taking it out of the bag.Minor flaws:One thing that did personally bother me was the stitching on the sides of the insert was strung out and I had to cut off a ton of extra threads that were hanging off. I can definitely tell the insert was cheaply made, but I’m not complaining because this was 20 bucks, which is very good for the price.**DO NOT get this bed if your dog chews beds or digs at them. It will absolutely fall apart!****DO NOT get this bed if you are getting it for an older dog with sore joints, it is not firm enough to offer enough support!!**

The size works. It’s pretty soft for my 10 year old dog. I like that you can take the cover off and wash it but it definitely needs a “mattress protector” type zip sheet to go before the outside because the dog smell creeps into the foam and you cannot wash that. Good luck if your dog pees on it. Yea the outside is “water resistant” or whatever but it’s not keeping the smells out. So you wash the cover but the smell is still there in the foam.

Dimensions are off, a bit smaller than expected.
Although the general structure of this bed is perfect and the concept of having it for inside a crate is great. The main problem is that even after measuring the crate and following the dimensions of what is shown it’s still too small for a large crate. Quality: GOOD Quantity: Meh.. it would be more helpful if the measurements attached to this item were accurately measured compared to the base of most crates.
