Cats love it
My cats go crazy for these! They’re pretty durable, although the feathers are usually the first to go. I typically fill the little treat compartment with catnip and my cats have a blast batting it around.

Medium-Big treats
Treat falls out if it’s not very big, but the cats love it and the big dog got ahold of it and didn’t destroy a toy for a change haha

Ok!
I would say it’s good quality, but it doesn’t really hold snacks very well and is extremely hard to clean!

cats won’t play with it, my skunk loves it!
my cat don’t like it… There’s nothing to really entice them to bat it around and get the treats out… but my skunk on the other hand, LOVES it! It’s perfect for small pieces of vegetables… I have celery and carrots in it right now and as you can see, she enjoys it very much! The hole is a perfect size for freeze dried treats, vegetables, cat treats, etc. It was inexpensive and pretty self-explanatory. skunk’s play similar to dogs so I think it would be way better for dogs than for cats!

Better for a dog’s meant to hunt rodents/foxes
FAIRY KICKER: I got this for my cat, but it’s honestly not well designed for a cat. It’s too small for them to be able to multitask in order to get to the treats. The body is a tube, with the head and tail attached to each other with an elastic cord, so your pet has to hold the body, pull the head or tail, and someone hold it that way to get the treats out. My Dachshund was much better suited for this toy, using her bed and a paw to pin the toy, then fighting with it until foot came out. Needless to say the toy was soaking wet with drool after and looked the worse for wear— but she got the treats out. Would NOT recommend. About the only way to really get the treats is to destroy the toy.MOUSING AROUND: the fabric and plastic ball are not connected, so they my turn, making the hole for the toys inaccessible, making the hole in the fabric at the back is nearly unusable, as well as being too small and interfering with treat dispensing. I had to turn the ball so the hole is on the side— which was the only time my cat was able to get the treats out, but even then, having the hole of the side affects the toys ability to just be batted around. Would NOT recommend.

Does not work
Opening to fill is too large

Cat seal of approval
If your cat likes to eat fake feathers on toys, keep an eye out as these seem to just be hot-glued on and a determined cat can pull them off. Otherwise, my cat loves these and figured out pretty fast how to get the treats out, mostly by flinging them around the room until they give up the goods. The plastic ball inside which holds the treats moves around a bit, but can be easily moved around. Fabric seems durable and holds up to claws. The treat hole is a bit small so not all kinds of treats will fit inside, or treats that fit inside may not come back out easily if they’re too large.

Works great! Keeps my cat busy.
I’ve had this treat dispenser for 4 months and I’m very happy with it. As you can see in the video, my cat is too! Besides the fact that my cat was able to pull out some of the feathers, I don’t have anything negative to say about this toy. Some tips:- You can pop the tail off to refill treats. I couldn’t figure out how until a few months in. You need to turn the tail counterclockwise. It might feel stuck at first and may take a bit of effort to open.- If your cat doesn’t know how to play the game, you may have to teach them. My cat initially tried to retrieve treats by pushing it around with his face. I had to grab his paw and use it to swat the toy until a treat came out. It took some time, but he eventually figured it out.- When first introducing this to your cat, do not overfill the toy. If you overfill, depending on the size of the treats, it may make it more difficult for your cat to swat out treats and discourage them. Now that my cat is a seasoned treat hunter, I fill mine with ~1/3 cup of Hill’s Science Diet for adult indoor cats. Each kibble is just a bit smaller than the dispenser hole, and it can take a while for him to swat the first couple out. As the toy empties, it will be easier. Once your cat gets the hang of it, overfilling may help keep your cat busy for half an hour or so.- Make it into a game! I like to hide the toy somewhere easy for my cat to find as a nice surprise while he’s wandering around.

I bought this for my cat as I couldn’t find her Dreamies mouse. I found that in the christams decorations after buying this. I think this mouse is too big and heavy for her and the treats do not fall out as easily as the smaller Dreamies mouse. I considered using it for her actual food. That comes out easy enough but I don’t think I will. So it’ll probably sit there unused. However, the mouse is good quality and cheap enough.

Really really really really bad option for cats. As a crazy cat lady, I am telling y’all not to get this for a cat.

Sorry I would elaborate but this is such a poor product it is really worth my time. Don’t bother could cut a hole in a sock and a ping pong ball and get something better.

The item was delivered quick. I should have read the reviews but for me a cat toy should have been a no issue item.So the ball is way too big. Material is a thick and heavy rubber (doesn’t roll or go that far=no entertainment.) And the treat hole was way too big! I used whiskas temptation and after a forst law swat 3 came out and after ine more she was done with all the treats.
