Great dog raingear for mud season
Overall I am very happy with this raingear for my dog who is basically a mop with legs right now. We live in Seattle and do a lot of walks in the rain and mud. This is a surprisingly well made and well designed garment and really keeps the mud at a minimum along the underside and back of legs. Our dog has a ton of fur so we actually can’t buckle it right now but the zipper holds just fine. The built in stretch in the neck chest area allow for a lot of size flexibility. Our dog is about 35 pounds and 17 inches along the back and the XL fit him well. Our other dog is about 25 pounds and thin but also 17 inches along the back and the Large fit her just fine. The snap on the neck making getting it on easier. The key is to get it on the two front legs, close the snap and then put it on the back legs and then zip it up. The dogs didn’t love it at first but adapted pretty quickly and it works great. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and happy to not have to deal with a muddy mess of a dog after every walk.

Perfect for snow!
My dog is about 15lbs and is also roughly 15inches long and 14 inches around the chest. I ordered both the medium and large size, and he is shown in the medium in the pic.The large was way too big around the chest area and the belly part went a little too long making it so he couldn’t go potty while wearing this. But he is pretty tall so I wanted to make sure the legs would be long enough. The legs did fit a little better with the large, but obviously not being able to go potty made the large a bad option for us!I love that this has Velcro around the legs because he lives to run through the snow but always comes in with lumps of snow caked to his legs and belly. It’s definitely a project to get this on, but I’d rather deal with that for 2 minutes than his legs be cold and wet for an hour after coming inside! He would not tolerate boots/shoes so this is the next best option and while he doesn’t love the rustling of the fabric when he walks, he quickly gets over it at the prospect of getting to run in the snow.

Keeps mud and rain off most of the dog
First, this really does keep mud and rain off pretty well for my medium sized dog (miniature bernedoodle, 45 lbs). I took him hiking in the rain, and mud without this rain suit and I had to bathe him when we got him. I took him in the rain and mud with the rain suit, and I was able to be a little lazy and just wipe his feet off and blow dry them.It does get HOT, as you would expect with waterproof materials, it holds in heat in order to keep the rain out with the fabric used. Keep that in mind on hikes.The other thing, as some have mentioned is that the latches are not as adjustable as one might think. You can do a few things (and since this is the lowest price, so far, it isn’t too much trouble for the price) you could safety pin the elastic when you get it to the right tension. You could cut and resize rhe elastic and stitch it in place, you couls do other things to. It isn’t a huge hassle, unless you realize its baggies just before you head out the door.Overall, it is a great product of you do not want to give your dog a full bad after a rainy/muddy walk.

Great for Great Dane
This is pretty good!! She’s only worn it a few times, but so far it seems to work well. She can climb into/out of the car and she can pounce around. Her gait seems to be OK, although there is a little bit of restraint, due to the legs. The legs could be a little longer, for the winter, but i do have boots for her too.It’s really easy to put on, once you figure out how to lay it out and my dog is really compliant, so it is not a struggle. I can see that it would be if your pup has not been acclaimated to you doing things to it.It has an opening for harness leash to pull through; however, i put her harness over the coat (she was in training). The hole will accommodate wide leashes and some people think it’s too big, but i think it’s fine. i’m sure you could put a piece of velcro to “snap” it together if you don’t like the opening.I wish it came in yellow; however, her collar is orange, so i matched it.The only con is that people suggested she is a con-vict escaped from prison !! 😀 LOL HA HA LOLShe did “escape” being locked up for her life, when i adopted her !! so… there’s that.She’s 7yr old in these pictures and not an overactive dog. So, all i can attest to is that this works fine for my senior great dane/mastiff mix and it’s large enough that in the extreme cold, i think i can put her foal blanket underneath it to keep her a bit warmer.It is a light-weight material and will scrunch up to shove into a tight spot, if needed.We have not been in heavy rain, but it worked fine in light snow, light rain.I’m glad i got this for my girl with osteo-arthritis.

I bought one when my dog was a puppy and loved it, but he outgrew it. This one is size M and fits perfectly. He’s a big Yorkie, 6kg / 13 lbs. His back is 15” long and this size is for a 12” back, but it seems fine. His chest is 17”, neck is 10.5” and front legs are 5.5” from floor to his underside. It fits perfectly and there is room for a light sweater underneath. The design is great – it provides excellent coverage and the legs stay on. My dog loves to roll in snow and this keeps the snowballs off his fur. Keeps him nice and dry and he doesn’t mind wearing it. The fabric, zipper and materials are very good quality. I highly recommend this dog coat.

Used this jacket in snow, rain, mud and dirt. Every time I took it off him he was completely dry and clean underneath. He was easily able to hike in it for 4 days straight without any irritation. Great product.

Really nice quality. Softer than the usual waterproof suits and a perfect fit for my boy (large). I appreciate that the leg cuffs can be tightened if required. Haven’t tested it outdoors but looks like it will perform well in wet weather.Edit: Have since tested in snow and rain and it kept his body bone dry and clean. It should be noted though that this is a lightweight waterproof suit so it is not sufficient in cold temperatures to keep the dog warm. I see this brand has a thicker padded version of this suit which looks warmer so I will be investing in that one too for the colder months!

Ich muss jetzt auch mal was bewerten. Ein super Regenmantel , mein Bichon Frise ist trotz heftiger Regenschauer fast trocken . Er hat ihn zwar nicht gerne an , rennt dann immer wie ein wildes Huhn herum. Kann diesen Artikel wirklich empfehlen. Habe auch ander Regenmäntel ohne Beine , da muss ich ihn Fönen .

I ordered the S size for my pomeranian which matched his measurements on the size guide.The coat is waaay too small for him. I’m currently returning the coat to order a size or two or above so we’ll see how that works out.I’d recommend sizing up at least one size.
