Perfect for my intended purpose of attaching this to a sound structure since my pittie’s strength has surpassed mine by leaps and bounds.Any toy can be attached to the end since the blue jay will have only minimal life with more aggressive breeds.Included Instructions aren’t clear, but I noticed they have been updated in the listing, with thorough instructions.Attach to any substrate that will best serve your purpose.Attach by any means that will serve as functional for your particular objective.Strap is adjustable and the height can be increased as the pet becomes familiar with each setting. Delivering a new challenge after the previous level has been conquered.The bungee delivers a springy action that keeps your dog engaged for more play.Can be used inside depending on the available space for play and the size of your dog.The mechanism responsible for the bungee is not exposed, and is covered by a sleeve.Since the day of delivery, my tug-a-toy has been outside exposed to all outside elements. did not hold up well against my dog
We got this for our Mastiff who loves to play tug of war….but it did not hold up with him at all. I couldn’t even get pictures because he had it all torn up. Maybe it would work better for smaller dogs who aren’t as aggressive with toys

Fun Toy for Doggo
It’s good. Overall quite effective. First one broke a bit easily over the door. The second one has held up well, including against weather around a tree. I think it hurts my dog’s self esteem though since he can’t really pull off the birdie. Maybe not for emotionally complex dogs.

One tough tug toy
We made something similar to this in our dog pen. We ran a line between two trees and tied unstuffies to it and let the dogs play tugs by themselves. Some of the dogs loved doing that, some didn’t care for it at all. Over time, the line eventually got weathered and broke, so we had to come up with a solution. When I saw this bungee tug toy, I had to order it. It is so much better and tougher than the one we originally made. The fabric it is made from is incredibly strong, and the bungee part is a really fun addition, though a smaller dog could probably slingshot itself right out of the yard if it pulled too hard! We attached this to one of the trees the original line was hooked to, and our foster dog had lots of fun pulling on the blue jay.I would personally recommend this tug toy be attached to a sturdy tree; depending on your dog’s size and strength it could do damage to a structural member of your house like a deck post or fence post. It also comes with a door anchor if you want to use this inside your house, but that is not something I would personally do since I have a 50 pound dog. I would be afraid she could pull the door off the hinges.

Toy broke immediately
The strap and bungee seem to be holding up ok, but the toy provided broke immediately and the manufacturer said “sorry, how about a %15 discount on a new order”… The toy was poorly made with weak stitching and my malamute ripped it apart in under a minute. Had to rig something else up with an old toy and zip ties. Dog lost interest after that.

Awesome tug toy!
This is a very well made high quality tug toy. My Aussie loves tug toys and took to it very quickly and has spent lots of time now playing with the tree tugger. It’s such great enrichment for him and it burns up some of his energy too. I placed it at the back of our property on one of our walking paths so that it’s like a treat for him to play with at the half way mark of our daily walks. The video is his first time playing with the tug, he definitely pulls and plays more intensely with it now that he is familiar with how it works. This toy has definitely been a wonderful addition to our lives.

Was looking for a strong tug toy for my Golden Retreiver puppy, didn’t exactly work!
I was excited to receive the package, hooked it up to my cypress tree in front yard, with the toy on the end, my dog was in love at first site, unfortunately 20 seconds in he had tugged the toy part totally seperating it from the rope, he had tore all the stitches. All is not lost though I did tie another one of his toys to the rope and that has seemed to work, for the time being!
