    Would not recommend buying
Product is flimsy. The panels with flooring were shredded by the cats within days. Door hinges and door locks do not work well. I would not recommend buying this product. It is so bad we took it apart and now it’s a big heavy paperweight in our garage

    Customizable and large!
This DIY cat enclosure is very well-made. It is your typical C and C material plus the size that you’re used to if you’re familiar with guinea pigs using them. The white is attractive and I find it more suited for indoors. It does chip rather easily so I would say just be cautious about how rough you are with it. But even clipping toys or connecting, I had paint chipping off!If you use every panel, this can be a huge pen. It’s completely customizable, which is really fun. You can literally make a cage to fit your space with these panels. There’s a combination of zip ties, the connectors and clips to hold all the panels together. It is fairly secure when you are finished. I am not going to call this predator proof or even larger cat friendly. For smaller animals and for those that are going to be more gentle, this will work. Unfortunately, once a larger animal jumped on one of the panels, like mine did, it immediately broke a piece off which made it very unsteady. So just a reminder that it’s not for your bigger critters.Another helpful feature about this enclosure, you have doors and panels. That’s useful and again maximizes the usability of it. I feel like when C and C panels first came out there were no true doors and you had to DIY your own solution. You have to have realistic expectations with a panel enclosures like this. Depending on the other animals, you have in your house, it may or may not work quite frankly. I think, in terms of design and options, this is a really nice kit. It really does start you off with everything you need to customize a white C and C enclosure.

    Great!
Intimidating with a lot of pieces but it’s really not that bad. It’s easy to set up and is very versatile. I preferred to use a higher quality zip ties for extra sturdiness.

    Duck tape for ripped panels.
Top, bottom, and shelve panels are medium plastic and the cats can rip thru it.Otherwise easy to assemble.

    I’m now zip tied certified
This catio is held together with zip ties. There are soooo many zip ties and took forever to put together. The instructions were horrible and confusing. My cats don’t even like it! All the inside shelfs (ledges? stairs?) are low quality and my cats have broken them just by jumping on them. My cats aren’t even large cats. They are considered on the small side. I would never get this again and I do not recommend it.

    Cheaply made product
This is poorly made only had it for one week with 3 kittens that weigh about 4lbs each and half of the panels have rips in them. Would not recommend buying this item.

    Can customize the shape
Perfect for my needs, but I have two criticisms for the intended build.I was a little confused as to how to build this product at first. It takes a bit of a learning curve, even with their directions. But ultimately got it set up.The metal plates slot into plastic connectors. It’s overall sturdy once it’s all built together, but you would benefit from having two people while assembling it.I got creative on how to use mine. I only have two windows in the entire downstairs floor of my home, and with cats I can’t open the three doors to the patio. So I built it out to cover just the door. Now I can have fresh air without the cats getting out. I was able to zip tie it to the gate and it’s totally sturdy. My cats love having a little access to the outside and can watch people pass by now while they’re sitting outside. It’s been such a nice alternative to a flimsy screen for a door that I wouldn’t trust them to not get out of.I’d say this is a fantastic solution for what I’m using it for, it’s one of the largest most affordable options on the market. It holds up just fine outdoors in my covered porch as a Catio. My two criticisms:- It makes the floor look like one solid piece, while it isn’t. Its just this thin plastic wrapped around metal bars, and the connecting points stick up into the bottom. So it would not be comfortable for a cat to lay on without putting padding or a big bed on the ground.- I’m also not sure how much usable space you’d really get on the extra levels. If you see in the pictures, there’s only one small square with that plastic cover. That square is pretty small and again wouldn’t be comfortable to lay on.So as an interior crate for a cat, which I’m not sure why anyone would do that, but I’d say its not the right fit. But for a Catio with freedom to come and go as they please, it’s purrfect!
