A Smart 2-in-1 Cooling Mat and Couch Protector – My Dog Took to It Instantly
I wasn’t sure if my small dog would actually use this, but the moment I laid it out, she curled right up and stayed there the entire afternoon. The cooling surface has a smooth, breathable feel; not icy cold, but definitely cooler than a blanket or regular bed, especially on warm days.🐾 Perfect Size for Small Dogs or Cats: At 28×28 inches, it fits neatly on the couch corner or floor. My 12-lb Shiba loves it, but I’d say it’s ideal for pets under ~20 lbs.🛋️ Protects Furniture: The non-slip bottom keeps it from sliding around, and the waterproof layer helps protect the couch from drool, fur, or accidents.🧼 Easy to Wash: The removable cover is a huge plus. I’ve washed it twice already; cold water, gentle cycle, air dried—and it still looks brand new.🌬️ Light Cooling Effect: It doesn’t use gel or electricity, so don’t expect dramatic cooling. But the material does stay noticeably cooler than most fabrics and helps regulate body heat.It works well as a dedicated “pet spot” on the sofa, which keeps her from hogging our throw pillows. It’s also portable enough to move from the couch to the floor or even take in the car.If you’re looking for a low-maintenance cooling mat that doubles as a couch protector, this one delivers. Just be sure to check the size—28×28” is great for small breeds, but medium or large dogs will need something bigger.

I like it, he loves it!
It didn’t even take him a day or two to “warm-up” to the new addition to his domain. He either props himself up on it to stare out the window or stretches out when he’s hot. If he didn’t like it, he’d dig and scratch at it until it was off of his “place.” ha haThe product came vacuumed/shrink-wrapped, and the fluffing needed a little adjusting before it was in working condition. I unzipped the cover and removed the tube of stuffing, then had to smoosh it all around and fluff it, maneuvering it for several minutes before I felt like it was decently fluffed. The filling isn’t like compressed foam or anything like that, so it wasn’t decompressing on its own.The material is cool and slick to the touch, and doesn’t get marked up easily or attract dirt. I just brush any debris right off that he’s dragged in from outside. The best part, stuff doesn’t “stick” to it, like the incessant hitch-hikers (cling-ons?) weed pods we have here. He’s been using it daily, and when he gets a bath, so will the cover. (Fortunately, his breed doesn’t tend to stink unless he rolls in something.)The cooling couch cover is well-constructed, and it was easy to access the filling via a zippered compartment. It’s also nice to have a non-slip backing. I do tend to like the color, although it is a very bright hue. The 28″ x 28″ size was more than large enough for him, and even though he is only 8#, he is long when he stretches out. It’s a nice couch bed cooling mat for your pet. I would recommend it for pets who especially have their own spot they claim as their own.

Multi-pet-approved!
Well, this was immediately pet-approved! Two of our cats and our 60-ish-lb dog all took it for a spin and seemed pleased. For reference, these photos were taken on the small sized mat.Our pets love cooling mats, and we had to try this one given the built-in pillow. It’s a brilliant blue (almost too bright for our eyes, but it didn’t seem to affect the furbabies). Our pup was rolling around (apparently it’s her new favorite belly rub spot), and it didn’t slip around, so that’s good. The pillow is soft yet firm enough to support our pets’ heads. You can un-zip the cushioned part before washing. The zipper seems to be in good shape (no threads or snags). While it’s washable, I do worry about dye potentially oozing out at first given how saturated it is. Time will tell.During these summer heat waves, cooling mats are well worth the cost if they keep pets feeling comfortable. Ours can’t get enough of them.

Very nice and satisfied
Big enough for our two small dogs to lay down together on the couch and have their own designated spot to stay cool during this intense summer heat. It’s also easy to clean in the wash. The color is true to the photo and the dogs enjoy it especially if they’re chewing a bone. It not super soft, but it’s definitely nap time comfy for them if they’re wanting to relax with us on the couch. It hasn’t torn or broken at the zipper which I’m very happy about too. The cooling function works well. Even better with a cooling mat to put on it to help in those really bad humid heat during peak hours because it helps keeps dogs from overheating. I mean, it’s great mostly in the sunroom since the ac doesn’t work very well and you can check to see if it really does stay cool when it needs to. I’m happy with this and so are my pups.

Nice mat
This is a great mat. It’s cooler to the touch than I expected. It’s not cold, but definitely feels cool. I was worried that it might be too small for my 40-45 pound dogs but it’s not. Only downside is it isn’t nonslip on the back so if you put it on the floor they have to be careful getting on and off of it. It does warm up from their body heat (as expected) but it’s cool to the touch again in about a minute after they get up.

Cool and comfortable pup
My arthritic rescue can’t jump up on the sofa anymore, but he has enough fur that he needs some cooling down in the summer. This doesn’t work flat on the floor because it’s too thin on the hard floor to be comfortable so I put it in his bed as a cooling layer. He had no hesitation getting in and, as you can see, he rearranges it to his needs. I like that it’s washable since he’ll run to his bed after being outside, no matter how dirty his paws are. It washes well and goes right back to keeping him cool and comfortable.
