BEST dog bed, especially for seniors!
Absolutely the best dog beds I’ve bought in 15 years, paws down – I will never purchase a different brand again.We currently have 3 other dog beds that I previously bought from different companies around our home, but once I purchased these – 5 months ago – both of our dogs consistently prefer to lay on them and ignore the others. It is so obvious the comfort and relaxation that they experience from these terrific beds – we have been totally amazed.Our two dogs are also senior (15 yrs/40 lb shepherd mix, 14 yrs/10 lb chihuahua), with the shepherd mix being a recent cancer survivor (part of her flank was cut out), has arthritis in her hips, and has over a dozen small & large lipomas all over. She’s still extremely active, though, so loves to lay down with us at the end of the day and relax, as does our little chihuahua. But our shepherd mix, especially, can have a tough time getting comfortable and often prefers just the hard floor. In the past she would ignore all of the other ‘orthopedic’-type beds that I would buy, which were usually way more expensive as well.However, they are in love with these plushy, soft, but still very firmly supportive beds that contour to their bodies. The beds are extremely well made with high quality, very velvety material and evenly curved support that isn’t ‘stuffed’ or filled with loosely gathered cheap material that either bunches up or breaks down in a few months of wear and tear. The colors are also very nice (I’m an artist so often have a hard time finding cool/interesting colors that match our unusual home decor/colors) but surprisingly these colors are very rich and look beautifully sophisticated while blending in well for any household style.If our dogs could speak human they would give these beds 4 paws up and a 5 bark rating! You and your dog won’t be disappointed, trust us!PS: I bought a size up from what was recommended and that seemed to work best for our gals so they could really stretch out, especially since our larger dog has very long legs and she loves resting her head on the curved end like a pillow.

Very comfy! My dog loves it! Looks great in my living room, it is nice and thick with no sagging, love the big size, I have a standard German shepherd and there is room for 2 of them.

Worth every penny!
My two pitties absolutely looooove this bed! They always sleep together so I purchased the jumbo size, which I think was perfect. Sometimes if one of them lays in the middle the other still has some room to squeeze in and get comfortable. The bed itself is durable, bouncy/great padding, and lightweight. One of my pitties is a Great Dane Pit Bull mix that weighs about 95lbs and my second pitty is 65lbs. I’ve had the bed for about a month now and it hasn’t shown any signs of sinking in, despite that they both sleep on it together almost 24/7. The round ends of the bed is a nice touch too, since it acts like a pillow support for their heads. They definitely love that too. LolThe only downside of the bed was that the zipper handle broke off so it’ll be a little difficult to unzip and zip up after washing it.

She loves it so I love it! 65lb Golden
I am happy with this purchase and so is Rosie! I bought this for my 10yr old Golden who is 65 lbs. When I rescued this sweet girl she was suffering from being hit by a vehicle. She was 9 months into a broken hip and fractured pelvis which her previous owner hadn’t taken her to see a vet for treatment. Sadly she healed incorrectly and is now terribly arthritic and walks with wobbly back legs. Because of this, ensuring that she is comfortable physically and mentally in her senior years has been my priority and this bed does make her happy. She sleeps like a baby and hops up out of bed in the morning very quickly.She also tends to run hot so the cooling gel does seem to help.The cover is nice. I was worried it would look sloppy and cheap. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. A bed this size and of this quality would be double the cost at the pet stores so I’m grateful to have found it on Amazon. It arrived a day earlier than expected too.Would definitely recommend!My dogs aren’t “chewers” so I can’t honestly rate its chew durability but looking at the bed and material one would have to assume that it would not last long (or hours) if a large dog was chewing or digging in order to get to the foam inside.

The BEST out of so many previously purchased
I have a 105lb bully XL (purchased a jumbo size so when he sprawls out its perfect size) & because he’s so short but stocky his hips tend to bother him. I have purchased “the dog bed” and other fur haven beds but this one is the BEST. I’ve literally bought 5 different beds but this one is the best for sure. Worth every penny. Doesn’t deflate, I genuinely would sleep on it myself, doesn’t dent or lose its shape. All around 10/10. Love how dense and not flimsy it is. Truly a Tempur-pedic for your dog. Are you

Great bed for big dogs
My 150lb Dane loves this bed. The only issue is the zipper pull broke apart when I wanted to wash the cover. Fur haven’s response to my complaint was handled quickly and to my satisfaction.

Cheap, easily destroyed
Size, thickness and shape of bed is AWESOME!!!! Love the orthopedic foam. Unfortunately, my 8 month old Old English Sheepdog chewed through the outer luxe casing in less than 5 minutes and remains intrigued at the foam insides (although she hasn’t chewed at the foam yet). The outer case (pillowcase) is not durable for any pup in my opinion. It attracts dirt and debris (like leaves and burrs carried in by my pup) and is difficult to keep clean. But mostly, it is just thin, easy to destroy material. IF this bed had a durable cover, it would be THE MOST awesome bed. But i need my pup bed to be fairly easy to clean, and more “puppy proof” in regards to chewing. My pup is NOT a chewer, but she does pick at things. Im sure she pulled a thread loose in under a minute and tore the covering in under 5.

Wir benutzen es eigentlich nur im Urlaub im Wohnwagen. Jetzt ist mir aufgefallen, dass wir an 5 Stellen schon den Bezugbeschädigt haben. Unser Hund liegt aber nur normal darauf und zerstört es nicht. Somit kann ich es überhaupt nicht empfehlen, da es jetzt in Summe ca. 3 Wochen benutzt wurde und schon total beschädigt ist und das nur bei normaler Nutzung.

I normally never take the time to write reviews, but I really felt disappointed with this dog bed. I purchased the small version and it seems like the cover of the bed is too tight/small. The item isn’t stable on the floor. It’s so wobbly that no animal would like to go on top of that. A waste of money if you ask me…
