    Crazy toy
It goes pretty fast and the cats are a little scared of it but it definitely keeps their attention! My charging lights never turned green but they seem to work fine. They do pick up hair and debris so it’s a good idea to clean it regularly.

    It is zippy
I am reviewing it as the product only. Cats are cats and how they will react is individual. I like that it can be charged and has 3 speeds. The highest speed is very fast and my cat seems to prefer the medium or low speed. It has a squeak or chirp that is very life like and moves in starts, stops and bolts like real prey would. The light on it is very bright and having had something similar before totally made the cats reject that item but I guess there is enough going on here to distract from that. It comes with 2 different attachments to entice. One of my cats likes this and the other has not paid much attention. I would say it is worth a try. Make sure to clean any hair or fuzz from the ball so it keeps moving as it should.

    Meh or my cats suck
Maybe my cats are just lame, but they have no interest in it. I’m not a fan of the sounds. Not the best battery life.

Like the large size and attachments
I bought another brand of this same toy and it stopped working after a few weeks. Time will tell if this one is any better. My cats really love playing with it, and it keeps them entertained when I’m trying to get work done. I just wish it didn’t have an annoying chirping sound. It’s not necessary for it to make a sound. The cats just want to chase the rope or feather attachments. Battery life is good. I also like that the ball is large so it doesn’t roll under my furniture.

    Great Interactive Cat Toy
My cat boy has a similar toy and loves it. I ordered this, because ithas an extra, interactive mode, and you can see which mode you are in by different colorcodes. He loves this one just as much. The green, interactive mode is his favorite. Theball stops at times, teasing my cat boy, then takes off in random directions, shimmyinglike a real bird (it does make bird chirping sounds) or mouse would. When my boy catchesthe “tail” of the toy, it acts as if it is trying to escape. He carries it in his mouth like a dogwould. LOL! This mode is very realistic, triggering our cat babies’ hunting and pouncinginstincts. Be prepared to loose it under furniture or down the stairs to the basement. LOL!I love that this is USB-C chargeable. My baby and I had to get used to it having an autoshut-off after 5 minutes of fun. But you can turn it back on. Great toy!

Don’t bother getting for a cat
Great concept, but my big, grown cat is terrified of it. Too loud, too fast, too startling. Probably better for dogs.

My cat goes crazy over this and it actually rolls around and interacts with my cat
My cat loves this thing. It really moves well over the floor and depending on what mode you put it in it will bounce of a wall and go back the other direction instead of just bumping into the wall over and over. The little toy attachments screw on to a connection on the little rolling part and have held up against my cat attacking them. A single charge lasts a long time…I’m not sure how long but my cat plays with it a few times a day and I’ve only charged it once in a week. I would definitely recommend this fun little toy.

If I were a cat I’d LOVE this. Unfortunately, my cats are probably smarter than I am…
This is a great idea for a cat toy. The toy consists of a small brightly colored ball mounted within a plastic C-shaped frame so it can freely zoom around in any direction. It has a screw-slot at the back of the frame to attach exchangeable ‘tails,’ one being a long red cord, the other a multi-colored, feathered snake-like thing. It exhibits VERY erratic movements, bird sounds, and tail feathers, it’s colorful and should have kept our cats occupied for hours.Except that it scares them half out of their wits.To be fair, it could be that my two cats are at an age (10) where frenetic activity isn’t always a draw, or it could be that they’ve just gotten timid. When I first put the toy out for them to play, they were held in rapt attention, until the thing started chasing THEM around the house. Our male tabby was acting like he was preparing to attack it, but when it suddenly reversed direction and ran directly at him at high speed, he jumped three feet into the air and did a somersaulting back-twist, then ran for the hills. After that, at the first sign of a bird tweet the cats are nowhere to be found.POSITIVES:- If your cat likes stalking an unpredictable (and fast) prey, they might really enjoy it.- It only got stuck once (which is a GOOD thing) seemingly because it constantly changes direction.- The internal battery charges fairly quickly (USB-C type charging slot), and it’s easy to tell when charging is complete (flashing stops).- The battery seems to last quite a while, probably because after 5 minutes of mayhem it takes a rest until it gets touched again, then it’s off to the races.NEGATIVES:- Once it’s in motion there is no way to tell which way it’s going to go, how far, or how fast it will get there. This thing zoomed all over through 4 large rooms and a long hall in less than 5 minutes. ‘Frenetic activity’ is a mild way to put it.- The first ‘tail’ we attached was the red cord which fell out of the screw hole in the frame within a few minutes. We still haven’t found it.- The ball ran into a wall with such force that the C-shaped frame popped out of one of the side holes in the ball. Because it could no longer rotate freely, the thing thrashed around in the middle of the floor and shuddered like it was being electrocuted. It was easy to fix since the C-frame is plastic, but my guess is this isn’t the last time that would occur.- The thing is so ‘manic’ that even cats have to pay attention to it, if for no other reason than to protect themselves from being attacked. There’ll be no leisurely lying about the house while this thing is running.- When it finally went to sleep, I was relieved. We had fun watching the cats freak out, so we humans were hugely entertained, but it wasn’t much of a thrill for the cats. If matched to cats with the right energy level, this thing could conceivably keep them entertained for hours. My best suggestion is to do your due diligence and figure out whether your cat will be thrilled or horrified. In the right situation, this could be fun for all.
