Versatile
I originally ordered for an outdoor cat that had shown up and it was a hot summer. He hasn’t used it so I brought in and it was well received by a couple of the cats. I took longer than needed to assemble but it is sturdy and cute and functionable hood/cover. I have it over a floor vent and the cats love it there. The mesh design lets more heat through than I get with a cat laying on it, and the style is cute and it has turned out to be versatile. Glad I ordered.

my cats love it
I got this product to try and it was an instant hit with all my cats. The hammock is sturdy and well built, i have large frame cat that weighs about 14 pounds and he lays on it without trouble. The canopy can be move up or down and the hammock itself can be taken apart and wash the fabric. Also the hammock comes with nonskid pads on each side of the hammock so if your cat runs and lands on it it does not skid or rolls. I loved it so much I purchased a second one.

Cats compete for who gets this
From the moment I set up this little cat bed, my two cats have fought over who gets to lay in it. Its so light weight that I can easily move it around the house, which makes it even more interesting. So for the price, this was exactly what i wanted. Even better than the box it came in

Cat likes this too much for me to slam it, but couple of things I don’t like
The instructions for this hammock aren’t terrible, but they could use some improvement. I’m still not sure if I somehow reversed something, though I can’t see any difference between my assembled hammock and various illustrations and pictures provided in the instructions and in the Amazon product description.It’s just that the cover for the hammock has this little ball that hangs down from it, which my cat loves. So cat takes a whack at the ball, which then gets knocked up on top of the cover where the cat can’t see it. At which point the cat pursues the ball, applying his weight to the front edge of the cover moving rearwards toward the ball. The pressure the cat puts on the front edge of the cover moving rearwards then folds the entire roof cover back to the rear of the hammock like a convertible car that has lowered its roof. At that point, with no roof/cover overhead, the ball is out of the picture, so the cat walks away from the now boring collapsed hammock.I’m thinking about poking a small hole very close to where the ball attaches to the edge of the cover, so that I can then use a piece of string to tie the edge of the cover down to the frame of the hammock, preventing the cat from collapsing the cover. But that leaves a string the cat must avoid when entering the hammock as well as whatever little hole I create.

My car likes it, and she doesn’t like most things. She’s a thicc kitty and she fits! It arrived missing 2 of the pieces, but still functioning just fine.

I had a different one previously and my cats really enjoy this style seat. Larry definitely has claimed it though. Easily put together and holds my 20lb cat.

Size is smaller than pictured. Not meant for adult cats. Cats uninterested due to size. Unable to return.
