    Quite a sturdy ramp
Now this is a dog ramp!I hadn’t heard of the EHCYCIGA brand before, but I took a chance – and I’m glad I did. This ramp feels solid without being too heavy and includes thoughtful features I wouldn’t expect at this price point. In case the photos don’t display in order, here’s what I’ve included: two photos with a yardstick to show scale (side and front views); close-ups of the top hooks that secure the ramp; the “feet” at the base; the textured surface; the quick-release buckles that secure it during storage; and a carabiner and hook-and-loop closure around the carrying handle (a nice touch). And of course – two shots of my senior rescue, Beignet, modeling the ramp in action. I don’t know her backstory (she was found as a stray, estimated to be around 8-years-old), so I wasn’t sure how she’d respond. Treats were required, but with a little patience and a LOT of treats – huzzah! – success!Learn from my experience: don’t start at bed height if that’s your need for the ramp. She ignored it entirely and jumped right up to the bed like a pro gymnast, as she’s done for the past year. I had better luck placing the ramp on a lower step – it helped her get the feel for it without the pressure and wondering, “Now what is the Nice Lady doing with this ramp?!”This is my first ramp, so I’m no expert, but I’m really impressed with the build and design. For the price, this feels like a high-quality pet mobility aid with a lot of smart features.Hope this and the photos help, especially those with opinionated seniors like mine!

    Third comment ,
Not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Folds up nicely, but it needs a better “hook” system so it doesn’t slip off the door frame. Probably best for smaller dogs and smaller cars.Amendment to my original review. The company immediately contacted me after my review to ask about my concerns. They were very polite and professional and seemed sincerely concerned on improving their product. They also refunded $10.00 which I thought was very nice. For clarification They commented that the ramp is for SUV’s, which their ad clearly depicts, however in my defense their ad does say for car and SUV’s, which I literally interpreted to mean it would work on car door frames. Perhaps a more clear description?Overall I would recommend this product, and the company, just make sure you pick the ramp that is best for your vehicle.

    Nice ramp but…
Was hoping this would work for our elderly fur baby but, not wide enough and he refused to even walk up the ramp to get in our car. However, It is well built and sturdy, even folds up nicely.

Sturdy, Safe, and Perfect for My Large Dog!
I recently purchased the EHEYCIGA Dog Ramp for Car (61″ L x 17″ W) for my senior Labrador who struggles with joint issues, and I couldn’t be more impressed! This ramp is the ideal solution for helping large dogs safely enter and exit vehicles without needing to jump or be lifted. The 61-inch length provides a gentle incline, which is especially helpful for older dogs or pets recovering from surgery. The width (17 inches) gives my dog plenty of room to walk comfortably, without feeling cramped or off-balance.One of the standout features is the anti-slip surface—it offers excellent traction, even on rainy days. My dog feels confident and stable walking up and down, and I feel reassured knowing he’s safe. The ramp is rated for dogs up to 150 lbs, and it definitely feels solid and supportive under his weight. It’s also very functional and portable. It folds easily for storage in my SUV, and the lightweight design makes it simple to carry and set up. Whether we’re heading to the vet or going on a road trip, it’s now a must-have part of our travel gear. Was well worth the price compared to others on the market. If you have a large or aging dog, this ramp is a game-changer. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make car trips safer and easier for their furry companion!

    Not finished well
Horrible finish on this item. Sharp edges that scratched my vehicle. The edges are unfinished and razor sharp. As I was placing the item on the vehicle I barely touch the bottom strut and sliced my foot. Just so you don’t think I was barefoot I did have on sandals. I live in Florida and it is too hot for closed toe shoes in the summer.I would NOT recommend this item.

    I’m impressed!
To be honest I was skeptical about this, but it works great with my van, and I’m impressed by how small it folds up. Very compact, lightweight, and easy to store. There is a textured pattern on the top fabric that prevents dogs from slipping. There’s a carabiner on a strap at the top that can be connected to the door latch, though it doesn’t really line up well with mine. It still works well and is plenty stable by just laying it on the step in the van. There are also grippy feet at the other end to prevent slippage on the ground. The only very small complaint I have about this is that the nylon and velcro hand grip that creates a “handle” to carry this ramp slides around on the bar. It might be better if there was some way to make this handle grippier, even if it had to be removed when the ramp is folded and put back on in transport. Anyway, not a deal breaker for me, as this thing works too well otherwise. I would absolutely recommend this.

Great Ramp for any size dog!
Even though this ramp is designed for large dogs, I got it for my small dogs to make getting in and out of the car easier—and it works great! It’s very sturdy and feels super secure, even though my pups don’t weigh much. The extra stability actually gives them more confidence when using it.It has a nice wide walking surface and the non-slip grip helps them feel safe, especially if it’s damp outside. It folds up easily and doesn’t take up much space in the car. Honestly, it’s probably overbuilt for little dogs, but I love knowing it’s solid and will last a long time. Definitely a great ramp for any size dog!
