    Safety tool neutralizes claw tornadoes
I had a cat that needed an infected claw soaked for a month. After sufficient scratches to concern my coworkers and a bite, I knew I needed a bag. The cat isn’t pleased, but if you Velcro the neck cuff first and scoot them into the bag gently, you can get the back Velcro closed and gently zip to secure your cat. The zips have proved convenient for claw trims since then, and the bag is also fantastic for medicating cats. This would comfortably fit cats of several sizes; mine is about 6 pound but it fits the 10-pound cat fine too. It has held up to clawing and kicking, even in the fabric non-mesh portions that look weaker. Though your cat will not exactly love it, it will keep both of you safer should they be a little difficult when it comes to care.

My Kitty’s Nails Get Clipped without Trama to Her, Myself or My Wallet
Well worth the cost!! I have a black kitten whose nails are like daggers. It is very hard to see her nails against her dark black fur. It took too long to clip her nails because you had to see it and had to be careful not to clip too deep. The first couple times you use this there is a learning curve, as with anything new, to how putting your particular cat in it and zipping it up.If you can’t clip or your kitty is destroying you when trying to trim their nails, this bag is for you. It is well worth trying it. You can return it if it just doesn’t work for you.I’ve used it several times, and it gets easier each time. Way better than being shredded by your kitty’s nails or the inconvenience of having to go somewhere and pay $20 to get them clipped once a month. You can roll this bag up and put it back in the small box it came in, so it doesn’t take up much storage space. My kitty weights 6 lbs and I got the S size, it was the correct choice. She still has room to grow. It is lightweight, it has mesh panels in the middle and back of the bag so you can use it for bathing. The back unzips so if your kitty is sick and you need to wash them up it would be very easy accessing the backside area.

    Too small for my cat
This is a very well-made bag, and it looks exactly as described. I do like the different zippers to access cat’s legs and the velcro on the back and neck areas, but it is just to small for my cat. I did go by the measurements, but medium was just too small and he looked like he was stuffed sausage. He’s around 11 pounds and 16 inches long. It is really a nice bag, but sadly I cannot use it.

Didn’t work for us, but I can see where it might for others.
We purchased this at around 20 dollars & feel that it is sturdy and well built – very fair price range. We bought it for a small dog (around 15 lbs.) that bites us when we try to do his nails. We’ve tried a couple of different types of clippers as well as one of those dromel sander things – he’ll have none of it. So, we put him in this bag, which he allowed us to do. He’s normally a very cooperative dog. When it came time to clip the first tiny nail, however, he was able to twist his head in such a fashion as to nearly bite us. With 2 people, the bag, and a muzzle, we were finally able to clip this tiny fighting dog’s nails. So, it ended up not being any easier than anything else we’ve tried. We are keeping it, though, because we have 2 cats that it may end up being handy for.We didn’t try using it for bathing, because our little monster likes baths – just has a nail clipping phobia. Probably something from his past. You never know what shelter dogs have been through before you adopt them. Anyways, I don’t see how this would work for bathing. It seems that too much of the animal would be covered. I would be afraid that soap would be left on my pet & cause them to itch. The advertising says it can be used in such a manner, but if that’s what you want to use it for, I would go through the reviews and see if anybody has had luck with this, because I just can’t fathom how that would work.Great quality – materials, workmanship, and design. Just didn’t work for us. Will update if one of my cats ends up having to take medication or something. I’m hoping it will work better for that. No need to clip their nails in the bag. They are more cooperative than my little dog.Update: We have since had to return this bag. One of my cat’s ended up with a urinary tract infection & ended up on meds as a result. We put her in the bag and hung it in order to give her the pill. She fought, shifting the weight of the bag. The zipper slid enough due to her movements that she fell on her head. We did not have it hanging high (thank goodness), but we do have ceramic floors. My cat seems fine, but I won’t use this again. I am giving it 3 stars because I feel this bag could be useful for some animals – just not ours. Try to hang it low, though, just in case. Or perhaps, one could find a way to keep the zipper from opening (a safety pin, maybe?) There’s no way for us to try this again with our cat. After her experience, there is no way we would be able to get her back in the bag.

    Life saving bag
First time leaving a review for anything on amazon but I had to for this product because WOW. I have 2 cats that are absolute menaces to society, i was able to successfully get them secured in it, trim their nails, and be done with both in of them under 10 minutes (secure the neck first then zip them up after). They cannot escape this bag as hard as they squirm/thrash, but it was a quick enough process they forgave me for it right after. GET THE BAG! Also get it size small for your average chunky house cat, if your cats really fat go medium but even with extra room in the bag the neck strap will keep it on them.

    It’s a cat hammock
We bought this to make it “easier” to trim our cat’s claws, but this cat hammock was a lost cause. It took me and a family member getting our feisty cat in this in the first place, and then found out we could not easily access our cat’s back paws while in this hammock.

Sturdy, but not very successful if you live alone.
It is very sturdy, but so far the cat hates it and is scared of it. I probably should give 5 starts, but it is not a one person device with a cat! I live alone so haven’t been able to successfully use it. Since I’ve only recently adopted him and he is only 7 months old, I will have to work this in slowly. As he has already been subjected to plenty of changes and scary new noises and stuff.

My neighbour is a first-time cat Mum to an 8-month-old brother-sister pair of adolescent kittens, and takes her responsiblity *very* seriously. I was babysitting the boy a few days ago while she took his ailing sister to the vet, and she came home almost in tears. She has to give both of them liquid antibiotics for a week because the girl had a parasitic infection. I’ve lived with cats my whole life and she’s been coming to me for advice and help. I knew from experience she wouldn’t be able to dose two squirmy, stroppy feline teenagers by herself, so I said I’d assist. The first dose was a struggle, albeit successful eventually, but traumatic for kittens and their owner alike. I came home and ordered this restraint bag on Amazon and requested same day delivery. It arrived 10 minutes before I was due to return for their second dose of the day, and the bag made such a difference! They’re not happy about being put into it, one after the other, and it does take two of us, my neighbour keeping the kitten and all its four paws inside (we zipped the leg openings closed) and me zipping up the back closure and securing the neck band. Then she holds the bagged cat in her lap and it only takes me seconds to shoot the vile-tasting medicine down the victim’s throat. This way I become the villain rather than their Mum. We only have two more days to go and have become quite efficient with practice. The kittens are resigned to their fate as soon as they see me come in the door, although the timid boy mews sadly while his more assertive sister gives me the stink-eye. However, the humans haven’t been scratched since the first pre-bag struggle and they’ve had all their medicine. My neighbour now plans to use it to trim their claws. I just wish it came in an XL size that might fit my giant Maine Coon if he ever needed a restraint. He’s pretty mellow, but there’s only so much a self-respecting cat will tolerate.

This cat restraint bag is super useful for grooming and nail cutting. It’s a perfect cat shape, leaving their head very clear so they can keep calm.At the paws it has multiple different zippers.Which means you can make it into the perfect shape for your cat, with either 2 or 4 paws out. When you have the cat inside and hang it onto something with hooks, it makes the cat calm because they’re wrapped. Then they will not struggle anymore and you can easily groom or cut nails. It saves so much time and scratched hands, which is great.

This is a great invention. Takes a little while to get her in it but the neck collar really helps hold her. Still getting use to her flipping around inside so I cant get her back paws sometimes but wonderful product, very well made. Now as for the comfort… you will have to ask the cat. 😆

Loved it. It was so much easier to cut my cat’s nails. She remained calm instead of struggling like I thought she would. Good value and worth the money. Also it is sturdy and strong and won’t easily brake. I think it will last a long time.
