Foster kittens love it!

Well made but base is too light
Well made but not stable as it moves while the cat is scratching the post. Base could be heavier to make it more stable.

My cat, Bubbles is still trying to figure out what it is. She’s intrigued by it and likes to sit next to it. She used the scratching part at the top and then she walks away. I know she really likes it, but she tries to play hard to get. No more scratching my chairs!!
My cat love this thing!! He plays with the toys on it and actually scratches it instead of my chairs. I purchased a tower also but he preferences this one.

Wickedly sharp sisal, for both humans and cats
I edited my former review. I now need to move this around often, so now I kinda hate it.The sisal they used is the most harsh, pokey sisal, I’ve ever seen. There’s no bar or shelf at the top, so Everytime I need to move it, grabbing the pole is instinctive. Well, grabbing the pole is a harsh surprise,every time. The sisal sticks me, it really hurts. Sometimes it even breaks my skin, and gets embedded, like a splinter or cactus thorn. If I have any cut, or hangnail, this finds it and stabs me there. Even the cats aren’t that fond of it, they rarely use it; usually they’ll go right past this one, and use a different post.I won’t buy it again.
