I have a bichon. And I worked so good. I’m blow drying his hair and he’s so fluffy afterwards. He’s so cute. His name is Rocky. But when I’m done with him, he reminds me of a cotton ball. He’s so soft.

Eh, I’ll just use my hairdryer
This is a small, lightweight hairdryer. The only difference is the different nozzles that would help with pet hair. However, it says ‘silent,’ and it is far from that. On the low setting it is pretty quiet, but on the high setting, it is just as loud as my hairdryer. So if you have a sound sensitive pet, like my cats (and all cats… very sensitive ears), this won’t be quiet enough for them, unless you keep it on the low setting, which will take forever. It is cheap and, well, that’s the only good thing about it. I think I’ll save up for a better quality, quiet pet dryer.

Powerful for a Small Dryer
What a surprising dryer for such a small and light pet dryer! I was so pleased and so was my 13 year old girl Parsons. I found that she was much more comfortable with being blow dried with this dryer than by the human hair dryer we have been using for all of these years. It could be because this one doesn’t get as hot and isn’t as harsh of a sound. She is calmer during her grooming. Although she is a calm pup while grooming anyway she doesn’t like her face or ears dried. This dryer is teaching her that she can actually stay still because it has a smaller pointed tip to use that doesn’t aim as much air on her face and in her eyes. With three settings you are sure to be able to find something your dog will be comfortable with. My Parsons is very fluffy afterward. The brush on this on has a good feature which is a button on the back that you can push and it will release the hair for easy cleaning. (photo attached) Three attachments are included so you are sure to find one you will like for your pup. Compared to the human dryer we have been using this pup dryer did not take one second longer and actually could have been a shorter period of time due to my pup being more still. It’s also light in weight and has a good fit in your hand. The only thing I would suggest being improved is the electric cord being made a bit longer. Overall it is a good price for a great product!

My dog did great with this blow dryer, it has 3 heat settings with attachments.
This has 3 heat settings, no heat, medium heat and med. high heat. In the video I was using the medium one which has the medium air flow as well. He could care less I am using it to dry him right after his bath (it’s more important to play with his toy). This comes with 2 additional nozzles and an air flow through brush as well. I apologize for the video quality, not exactly a pro at that. He enjoys the warmth from the blow dryer and many times just lays there while I run the warm air over him. It is on the quiet side as well. I highly recommend this blow dryer for pet care.

Very loud and way too hot for dogs
I will preface this review by saying that I’ve been working with dogs and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have 4 small breed dogs but have raised and worked with large breed dogs in the past.I’ve been grooming my own dogs for over 50 years so I was interested in trying this dryer. The first thing I noticed was that the bristles on the pin brush attachment were bent already. It has the push button cleaning attachment and often times this damages the pins on these devices. Since I was unable to straighten the pins on the pin brush, I removed it and put another head attachment on and tried the dryer.This dryer is extremely loud and high pitched!! It is much louder then other dryers I’ve used and scared my dogs. I make a point of having my dogs enjoy and not be scared of grooming and this dryer terrified them. It is also extremely hot! If you use it, you have to make sure to NEVER stop moving it. It is suppose to have 3 heat settings but mine just had two high and one low speed and all were hot (The first and last were high and the middle was low for some reason).I can’t possibly use this on my dogs or recommend it.

My dogs were terrified of this dryer
I was so excited when I got this “silent” pet dryer. It comes with three different attachments and a long enough cord. I have two medium sized dogs with short but thicker hair, so I thought this would be perfect to get them quickly dried before they had zoomies around my house shaking excess water every where (a towel just doesn’t do the trick). Needless-to-say, after bath for dog number 1, I dried him off as much as possible with a towel and then turned on the pet hair dryer. Firstly, it is not silent. It is quieter than a human hair dryer but it’s still loud enough to scare dogs not used to having their hair dried this way. Secondly, plan on spending a very long time with the dryer if your dog has thick or fluffy hair because this dryer is weak, even on the highest (loudest) setting. Further, even if my dogs were ok with the dryer, they would not sit still for the amount of time it would take for this dryer to actually be effective. Dog number 1 shook in fear when I started to blow dry his hair. I think if it were quieter or dried faster I could have coaxed him into sticking it out. Dog number 2 refused to get anywhere near me with it on (it was loud and scary to her), she just kept barking at it from a distance. I tried all attachments and none were acceptable to her When I had someone hold her to bring her closer to it to let her sniff it while it was off, she attempted to attack it. When I turned it on away from her, she started barking and running around me but stayed at arms reach. If the dryer was more powerful and could dry my dogs quicker, I would continue to try to get them used to it to have them dried in minutes, but since this dryer can’t do that, it’s not worth the anxiety it causes them. They are terrified of this dryer.
