Essential for dog owners!
These JUST came in the mail today. They are absolutely worth it.I did use one of them on a pair of my clean scrub pants. They worked well but they were fresh out of the dryer so there wasn’t a whole lot on them. But I bought these to clean my scrubs when I get to work because scrubs, for some reason, just hold onto fur.A side note: I’m stupid. There are 4 large dogs in my house. An Aussie, a German shepherd, a golden retriever and a smooth haired mutt. This makes for an insane amount of fur on our clothes and rugs and furniture.To demonstrate how well they work, I delayed vacuuming my area rug by an extra day. The area rug is a patchwork rug, different squares, different colors. I took a picture of the before and after, cleaning one patch. The mitt worked well! It wads the fur up into a little doggy dreadlock.It works. That’s the most important thing. I have large hands and there’s plenty of room for my hands. I’d be worried that if I had smaller hands or fingers that they would come out a lot more while using the mitt.This was a great idea!

Great at getting fur off fabric (and the cat loves them)
I ordered these pet hair gloves and for a minute after I received them, thought “wait, are these to get excess fur off of your pets, or off of the furniture etc. that they’ve shed on?”The answer is BOTH. They’re for both.One of my three cats is quite the shedder. She’s a domestic shorthair, but she just has that type of fur that’s forever growing a super-fluffy undercoat that just sheds and sheds and sheds, in such coupious quantities that I have no idea how she has any fur left. But she seems to be an endless floof-factory. I use one of those shedding tools on her frequently, but even though it gets mounds of that fluffy undercoat every time, there’s always plenty more where that came from.Enter these mitts. They have a kind of Velcro-ish texture to them, with the business side of each glove divided into two halves where the “pile” of the fabric is oriented in opposite directions on each half. This means that whichever direction you move your hand when wearing one of the gloves and running it across a surface, it’s going to be getting that surface with the half with the “grabby” texture, while smoothing it with the half with the… not-grabby? texture at the same time. When you move it in the other direction, the side that was smoothing becomes “grabby”, and the previously-grabby side does the smoothing.The gloves don’t seem to get much fur off of my forever-shedding cat, but WOW, does she love being “brushed” with them. I think they’d need longer “teeth” to be able to grab any of her undercoat (the part that sheds 24/7/365), but they do a great job of smoothing her coat down and making her fur look glossy and sleek. And she purrs up a storm the whole time. She loves it.On the furniture, though, it’s a different story. These gloves do an AMAZING job of grabbing all that fine, fluffy shed fur and compacting it so it’s quite easy to pull off of the glove in one clump that stays together somewhat vs. becoming airborne and floating off to land on another surface. It’s really satisfying (if not a little disturbing) to see how much fur these gloves can pull off of couches, cushions, and comforters in a single sweep. Yikes. The fur kind of collects in a dense-ish strip towards the middle of the glove, so you can peel the whole strip off pretty much at once. I’m sure some fur still remains between the grabby “teeth” of the gloves, though (it’s hard to tell, because my cat’s fur is conveniently the same grey as the brushing surface of the gloves), and I’m not entirely sure how you clear that fur off of them completely, or if that can even be done, although the instructions do say that they can be washed with water and a mild detergent. I hope that a possible inability to totally remove all the fur doesn’t mean that they’ll become less effective over time, but for now, they’re very effective indeed.

Hair be gone!
This is so easy to use. My red-grayhound/husky mix that I thought wouldn’t shed because of such short hair has been shedding like crazy with all the heat this summer. These gloves make it easy to be loving with him and still collect his hair so that furniture isn’t filled with hair. It is so easy to rinse off the hair by just running cold water over the gloves. I’m glad that I can use it on my clothes, furniture as well as my dog.

Goodbye lint rollers and other devices. These do a Wonderful job in getting all the hair up.
Goodbye lint rollers and other devices. These are Wonderful and get all the hair up from my bed to my car, they do a Wonderful job, especially with having a German Shepherd dog. Easy to use and they stay on the hand with how it is almost like a glove. Just glide across back and forth and turn over then there is a big line of fur in the middle. Easy to clean.

Great for removing excess dog fur
These fur remover mitts works wonderfully. I couldn’t wait to test it out on my dog and he thought he getting a massage. The mitts are perfect for all different hand sizes. Unlike a traditional deshedding tool, there are no sharp teeth which could hurt your pet. They also work well on car upholstery to gather loose fur. Both mitts stick together so you can easily store them. If you have a pet and need a grooming tool that is easy to use, these are worth having.

Works!
This works great for getting pet hair off of furniture and carpets, which I think is its best use. I have a Golden Retriever and a cat and using it on their fur doesn’t do much at all. Removed one star because even thought it is made really well and appears durable, the sewn split where you put your hand makes it fall off of your hand while using. It should be a more secure glove-like fit to work better.

These are great… they really do work as shown! I have tried different versions of these but this is my favorite by far for several reasons. The bright purple color is esthetically pleasing, they are nice and stiff so they don’t collapse when you run them back and forth, and they work really well. We have 8 cats and two dogs so a tool like this is a game changer.

These worked better than I had hoped. I have a labrador retreiver who sheds enough that I could knit another dog! This picks up hair off the floor, the furniture, the bed, the car, my clothes and even him. He seems to love being petted with it, so judging by his expression it must feel good. I also appreciate that you get two. One for the house, one for the car.
