Good enrichment for cats too
First off, if i had gotten this for a dog i would have been very disappointed by the size. But then again maybe that’s why it’s cheaper than other similar products. The dimensions are listed I’m just very bad at estimating measurements and also imagining them. For a cat or a small dog though, it’s the perfect size.I realize I’m not the target demographic here but when it comes to animal care and enrichment- if it benefits the animal, that’s all that matters. Scent is very important to dogs, obviously… and it’s also important to cats, which i think a lot of people forget. My cat likes to inhale her food and swallow it whole without chewing, which inevitably leads to it coming back up onto the carpet every time. So I use a rotation of puzzle feeders to slow her down and make her use her little walnut brain (as opposed to just using a slow feeder bowl). She’s very smart and actively prefers her puzzles over a regular bowl (she will literally reject a bowl of food and shows preferences for a couple puzzles over others). The problem is she’s gotten very good at all the puzzles to the point that even having them on a rotation to switch things up isn’t enough anymore. She also unfortunately does not respond to catnip or catnip alternatives (we’ve tried them all just in case)- it’s not super common but it is a genetic thing. As a result, she doesn’t really get a lot of enrichment that utilizes scent so I thought why not see if she likes hunting down hidden food pieces. It’s been a pretty big hit. It is both easier and harder than the puzzles. Easier in the sense that she can get more than 1-2 pieces of food at a time but harder bc she has to really search for them. I currently switch between this and a food dispensing ball, to balance out the challenge throughout the week. She also likes to dig a bit so being able to dig through the fabric strips is something else she enjoys.Once we’ve had a break from the puzzles for several months I’ll start re-introducing them on rotation again and alternate between current puzzle and this mat.But the thing I like the most is I can just throw it into the wash as needed. There is no hand washing plastic nooks or worrying about food/crumbs getting stuck between pieces (some puzzles are just too weirdly shaped to fit into the dishwasher and others will not be able to be thoroughly washed by a dishwasher). She’s happy. I’m happy. 5 stars.

Great for boredom for my Doberman
It’s cold here and I have to have things to keep my 100 pound Doberman busy. This has been a great activity for him. I do watch him and take it away when he’s done finding the treats. I just put some of his kibble in here and he patiently waits lol. He’s learning that after he’s found all of the treats to leave it. I am glad because he tears everything up. I still pick it up when he’s done though.

My dog loves this toy
I say “sniffle pad” and she comes running to get her puppy puzzle. She is a hound so she has great sense of smell so it’s not challenging for her but to me it seems she’s having a lot of fun, and that’ the most important thing. The fact that i can pull a string and it bundles is really convenient, I can put it in her cab it so quick and I don’t have to put it somewhere else bc it can’t fit. It’s over all an amazing toy and I definitely recommend it!

It’s really cheap, but does the job
It’s more cheaply made than I would have liked, in retrospect should have bought one of the long carpets for a bit more money, but I bought (and washed) this one so it is mine now! Cats definitely enjoy it.

love how easy it is to clean
My cat loves this and he slobbers a lot. Once a week after a use or two, i toss it in the washer, dry it in the sun, and it’s good as new. Keeps my clingy cat busy and gives me time to get some work done. 10/10 would gift to a friend.

Dog approved
This works great for my dogs. It normally takes about 7-10 minutes for my dog to eat all of her food. We had to start using this for her because she was eating way too fast. This has slowed her eating so much and then she is calm and wants to nap afterwards.

Keeps my dog busy!
I take her freeze dried chicken and blend it to shreds/small tiny pieces and shake a little bit into the snuffle mat. She is busy for at least 20 minutes! I love it!

3 in 1 for Cats or Dogs
Bought this for my 2 cats on a suggestion that I should get an interactive feeding toy. This was highly recommended and after using it for a few weeks I can recommend it as well. What I like is that unbeknownst to me my cats actually like it as a regular play toy, and a cat bed just as much as a snuffle mat. In fact, it’s snuffle mat may be it’s lowest quality attribute. The flaps aren’t the greatest quality in spacing and springiness but they get the job done. I just close the bag up tight and let the cats really dig in to it.

Very pet friendly. Easy to use. With this, I can get my dog to eat her kibble, which is good for her but that she’s not crazy about. My dog is 5 months old and had no difficulty figuring this out. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t comment on that.

Very simple easy to pack away toy I got for my 2 kittens. Hide some treats in the leaves and keeps them entertained for a good period of time and then once finished simply turn inside out and pull the toggle to pack away. Very good product.

I’ve bought a bunch of different snuffle toys for my dog this year, but this is the only one I keep using. There is no fiddling about, she loves it, and it looks fine and doesn’t spread bits of toy everywhere. No issues with her trying to rip it apart, but despite her not being particularly gentle it’s survived well for a few months of once or twice a week use so far. Haven’t tried washing it, but it looks like it’d survive okay?

J’ai un très petit chien et ce tapis lui conviens très bien. Lorsqu’il est sale, directement dans la laveuse. J’adore.
