Perfect For Summer
This bed could not have arrived at a better time…Summer. I’d been looking for some sort of cool-surfaced pad for my 16lb Havanese, because the weather here is so very hot, and this bed has a surface that is far cooler then the typical fluffy bed.I love that the surface will be easy to clean when I need to, and it is the perfect size for my little Ivy. The bed arrives vacuum-packed, so you’re supposed to allow 24 hours for it to fully expand, but I must admit that our furbaby plopped herself down well before the 24 hours, and she AND the cat have been there every day since. The bed also seems to be durable and sturdily-constructed for non, or light chewers, but I definitely wouldn’t purchase it for a heavy chewer. .

Not very padded, but sturdy.
The central padding in this bed is very minimal, though the edges are fairly plush. I would not call the fabric oxford, either, as it’s a heavy weight polyester, and oxford fabrics are generally cotton. It does fit well in our crate of the same dimensions, but my 11-year-old Labrador does not like it, as it’s not soft enough for her, both in terms of the comfort of the fabric and the thickness of the mat. It’s also very noisy! The paws on the polyester make an exceptional amount of noise.The fabric is sturdy and wipes well, so it will need less-frequent washing and will give me some peace of mind if my senior dog is in the crate. The embroidery also looks nice, and the grey color will keep it looking cleaner, especially in our household with two black labs and one white lab. I do think the bed will hold up well if your dog uses it, but our spoiled dogs defiantly prefer their other, softer beds, as is demonstrated by the very sad look on Popcorn’s face in these photos. I have since added a piece of memory foam from an old mattress topper under it and they seam to appreciate that more.

Love it
This dog bed is really nice. It is made from super durable materials and it is waterproof! It is thin bit a very dense passing which provides plenty of comfort. We use it as a regular dog bed rather than just a pad. It fits novelty in their dog bed frame too. It’s nice and clean and overall it’s functionality is exactly what we needed for our dogs. The cover is easily removable for washing.

Nice bed.
I think this is a great little bed/pad. With only 1 issue, my dog has rough pads on her paws and this material is loud, so in our tiny camper bedroom the dog wakes us up at night with the noise, and I mean it is pretty loud.Otherwise it feels durable and she seems to be comfortable on it. It also fits our space perfectly

Good for keeping my dog cool
I’m very pleased with the quality of this kennel pad. All other pads I’ve tried in my older dogs crate were not liked by her. She would push them aside and lay under them. This pad must stay cool enough for her and doesn’t seem to be something she can push around as easily as others. She does lay on it for longer periods which makes me happy. She has arthritis in her hip and I appreciate the extra padding it gives her.The fabric appears to be easily cleaned and the construction looks well done.Overall a nice kennel pad for dogs who get too hot with traditional fleece pads.

High Quality Kennel Bed
This kennel mat came vacuum wrapped but expanded beautifully over the next couple of minutes. The cover is exceptionally strong and durable. The bolsters and the foam pad in the middle can all be removed through great quality zippers, and the cover is washable. The material seems to be waterproof, or at least repellent. The whole dog bed looks high quality.Even though it is a tad small for my rottie’s kennel, which she rarely uses anyway, she instantly claimed it as her own and uses it as a daybed. It gets paws and thumbs up from us for sure.

Nothing Fancy, but Does the Job
The SOMAHE Dog Bed for a Crate is a nice, straightforward, and seemingly tough sleeping pad for a dog. It has a 1″/2.5cm layer that behaves like memory foam in it’s center section, as shown in the manufacturer’s pics, and a compacting fill layer, that isn’t as forgiving as the foam but compresses to about an inch, in the surrounding section. The cover is a nice Cordura-looking fabric. All of the seams are straight and well sewn and the zippers are of good quality. It is water-resistant, if not water-proof. It is light in weight, but it is no light-weight.Four stars means the bed is above average but not exceptional. It is well worth the money, for I think it will last significantly longer than the other comparably priced beds, or even many more expensive ones. Had the foam pad been two inches thick then I’d have probably given it five stars.I was going to use this in a dog’s crate but ended up using another bed there. Instead, this is both an after-swimming bed that doesn’t soak up water (the dogs are towel-dried first) and an easily moved bed that’s large enough to place where you need it without issue.The bed is light, strong, waterproof, comfy, and well-made. I think it offers very good value for the (now $35) price.
