Better than a slow feeder
My dog loooooves this thing. We call it her minion. We struggled with every type of slow feeder and game and mat available and this is the only thing that truly occupies her time. I fill it with half of her food, a few mini marshmallows, and a couple of tiny treats when it’s our dinner time (or breakfast) and it keeps her occupied and us free from a counter surfer for the duration of dinner. Make it more challenging by making the holes smaller. Pretty indestructible too. My dog has figured out how to open it and there are gashes on the top and black band, but no breaks or shards. We just make sure it’s tight when we give it to her so she can’t open it. Ordering another one so we have a rotation. Well worth our dog-free dinners!

Lasted 10 minutes
Our 16 month old springer spaniel pulled one end off 10 minutes after she got it. She proceeded to chew on the hard plastic threads, making it impossible to screw it back together. I was able to file the rough edges and force it back together, allowing us to use it by making sure to take it away as soon as the food is gone.

Not What I Thought It Was
From the picture, I thought that this was going to be like one of those bottom heavy toys that could be pushed over to release the treats. Instead, it just lies on it’s side and your little pup can just roll it a bit to free the treats. My dog used it once, then she was mostly done with it. Maaaaybe, if she’s reaaaaally hungry she’ll give it a push, but it has not captured her interest in a meaningful way.One thing I struggled with was that when I unscrewed it to add the kibbles, then tried to adjust the top part so that the hole was smaller, I could not get it to make the adjustment. At first I thought it was broken, but then my wife messed with it and showed me that when it’s all back together, the adjustment dials turned again. Hopefully this helps someone else who is struggling to make the dials turn when it’s in 2 pieces.Overall though, it does what it’s supposed to do and your dog may think it’s more fun to play with than my dog did?
