  1. Beautifully made and very nice coloring

Puppy has not left her bed!
This bed is absolutely amazing! I got it for my small dog who loves to sleep in her big brother’s bed all the time (for reference she’s a chihuahua and he’s a bigger mix that we don’t exactly know). If you have a smaller dog I definitely recommend this bed because its very comfortable for the dog and allows them to move around if needed. As for safety, the canopy over the bed is held up by a plastic piece that slides in and out and can be folded down quickly if needed. It doesn’t collapse on itself and is very sturdy if the dog is just relaxing so overall it is very safe! The bed itself is not washable but the cover can be removed and thrown into the wash without any issues. I believe that the bed is extremely worth it for the money; we’ve had several other beds of this style and this seems to be the one our dog likes the most! Highly recommended!

    A Plush Retreat for Pups!
The Furhaven Round Orthopedic Dog Bed for Large Dogs has transformed my furry friend’s naptime into a luxurious and comfortable experience. As a pet owner who values both style and functionality, this bed has exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the orthopedic design is a standout feature. The bed’s egg-crate foam core provides excellent support for my large dog’s joints, making it an ideal choice for pups with arthritis or hip dysplasia. It’s heartening to see my dog enjoy a restful sleep without any signs of discomfort. The plush faux fur covering is not only soft to the touch but also adds a touch of luxury to the bed. My dog immediately took to the cozy surface, and it has become her go-to spot for relaxation. The round shape and raised edges create a secure and nest-like environment, promoting a sense of safety and warmth. The size of the bed is perfect for larger breeds, offering ample space for stretching out or curling up. It’s evident that Furhaven has considered the comfort of big dogs during the design process, making this bed a spacious retreat for pets of all sizes.Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the removable cover that can be machine-washed. The durability of the materials is impressive, and the bed has maintained its shape and plushness even after multiple washes. The zipper closure ensures that the cover stays securely in place.I appreciate the non-skid bottom, which prevents the bed from sliding around on hardwood or tile floors. This thoughtful addition adds an extra layer of safety, especially for older dogs or those with mobility issues. The variety of colors and patterns available is a delightful touch. It allows pet owners to choose a bed that not only suits their dog’s preferences but also complements their home decor. The aesthetic appeal of the Furhaven Round Orthopedic Dog Bed is a welcome bonus.Furhaven has crafted a winner with the Round Orthopedic Dog Bed for Large Dogs. Its combination of orthopedic support, plush comfort, and stylish design make it a top choice for pampering our furry companions. If you’re looking to provide your large dog with a cozy retreat that prioritizes both comfort and aesthetics, look no further. Highly recommended!

Good but not as nice as the expensive brand
This is ok. Not great.Pros: dog likes it, seems comfy enoughCons: the Sherpa fabric sheds a lot and gets all over the place. The tube that keeps the entrance up is big and looks silly, but also falls backward, making it difficult for dog to burrow in with the top falling over him (see photo). Cushion/filling inside is much less than the expensive brand

    She loves it!
My dog adores this bed. It’s super soft material inside and out, it’s very thick too! It’s a pretty colored brown with a nice cream on the inside. My pup can’t quite figure out how to get under the cover part, even when the tent pole thing is in the front, unless of course she’s playing on it, then she gets inside no problem, and freaks out and flips it on top of herself trying to eject from it. But that’s not the bed’s fault. It’s beautifully made and doesn’t feel like cheap dog bed at all. Hecat loves to snuggle on it while I’m sitting at my desk of vanity. She’s a out 65 pounds and the size I got is perfect for her. We are both very pleased with this dog bed.

Just OK as a regular bed and the cover/hood leaves a lot to be desired.
I bought two of these for my two spaniel/chihuahua mixes. They weigh about 20 pounds. The size is a hair too small. The biggest issue I have with them is that the opening for the cover doesn’t really stay up and the cover material sags too much. My dogs ended up just sitting on top of the whole thing. And the cushion isn’t all that thick or comfortable either. The $20 round Costco beds they have are a lot more cozy and more comfortable. I put all the beds side by side and they go to the Costco beds every single time. I even tried putting treats under the cover but they just ate the treats and went back to the Costco beds. And like I said, the cover is almost useless because the plastic tube that is supposed to hold it open just falls back onto the bed. I prop it up, once they go in and out the opening closes and it just becomes a regular thin cushion.I think these would be good for a dog no bigger than 15 pounds that knows how to burrow under pretty much anything. My dogs are a little too big for them and although they like being under sheets and blankets, the way these beds are designed with the opening always disappearing when the tubing that holds it open falls backward onto the bed makes it impossible for them to burrow in it.I will most likely be donating them to my local shelter.

    Must buy
I’ve been debating for years if I should buy a cozy cave for our GSPs and so glad I finally did because they figured it out immediately. I think I could’ve gone with a smaller one because it’s very big (good size for a Dane) but it fits both pups if needed. Super simple set up and will be easy to remove the cover and clean. Worth the buy for a burrowing breed that is constantly in and out of your blankets! Both pups are between 50-65lbs and fit perfectly for reference.

Dachshunds love to burrow and ‘cave beds’ seem to be the general favourite of the breed but I recently realised that the one she preferred had gotten very thin on the bottom. As she will be turning 15 soon, I set about looking for a nice orthopedic one for her…and this is perfect! It’s kept in my office so she is in it the majority of the day but of an evening she often ‘asks’ to go in there to climb into her new favourite bed! As you will see from the photos, we didn’t insert the opening tube as she likes to snuggle in it but it does mean I have to lift it up for her to get into; she can do it herself but she’s a bit of a diva! She is an only fur-child but this bed would easily fit two of her in and she’s a larger miniature dachshund at 6.5kg but the mattress is so lovely and thick (looks like an egg box when you get it) she barely makes a dent in it so would be fine for heavier doggos too. Very impressed and will probably have to buy another for the lounge!

My Scottie already has an igloo bed but the base was rather flat. The Furhaven formaldehyde-free Certipur foam with a roof sounded like a good upgrade. But my Scottie has other ideas. She obliges by sleeping inside, under the roof on our requests. On her own, her preference is to sleep ON the roof, challenging the curvature & bending strength of the plastic rod that’s threaded through the roof fabric to lift the roof at the entrance. See attached pics.So now she’s left to her own devices, introducing another way to use the bed! 9/10 of the time on the roof, 1/10 only obligingly.Nothing wrong with the bed if your pup embraces a cave & blanket idea. I took a star off as the roof could have been better shaped with another plastic rod to lift the middle part of the roof so that the fabric is lifted and doesn’t act like a blanket?

This item is the most itchy and hard bed i have ever come across. In no way shape or form is there any type of “comfort” and the “thickness” doesn’t apply because the foam or whatever it is compromised of is hard as a rock!! It feels like wool, that kind of wool that makes your skin itch. Product description is wayyyyy off. No need to see if its “easy to clean” because my dog won’t even sit on it let alone sleep on it. He even started itching so now i am stuck with no bed for my dog who suffers from separation anxiety. That is why i purchased this particular bed because i thought by the description that it would be soft and the blanket would cover over him and he would feel cozy and safe. Not the case!! I could have used that money to purchase a different one from Amazon even if it costs me a bit more. Terrible bed!!! Not a happy camper!!!
