It really makes a difference
I have tried so many different brands and I finally found one that actually makes a difference. My pup has had some real skin issues as she’s aged. She does have seasonal allergies and itches all summer. I use this and it makes her look and feel so good. What a difference it has made with the quality ingredients in this product. Her skin is so much less irritated and she smells so good. Great lather too. For the price of the shampoo I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. I will definitely be buying it again and recommend it to all dog owners.

So gentle on sensitive skin
First of all, the shampoo has a very nice, light natural fragrance, but more importantly, it is gentle on delicate, sensitive skin. It lathers up nicely and provides plenty suds for a good wash. We have a boxer who breaks out in hives and starts bleeding with regular shampoos; not with this one. He smells nice and no rash! We will definitely come back for more.

Smells great, seems to work
Love the scent. It’s not overpowering. No fake colors and all natural oils. Surprisingly, no wet dog smell after the bath and fur is soft. Feels like a 2 in 1 conditioning treatment. Thick shampoo goes a long way with not too much bubbling. Ruined easily. Hopefully this helps keep the itching away for a bit…. I’m thinking it’s from dry skin with the weather change. Love the other skin care products from this company and usually purchase at our local pet shop by they didn’t carry “itchy dog”. Glad I was able to find out here plus all the stuff we get.**My bottle arrived opened and the seal was broken. Leaked about a 1/4 cup of product into the box, which leaked out on our porch. Now the porch is clean and smells like lavender. This was an Amazon shipping quality issue, not related to the actual product. This is something Amazon really needs to work on.

Natural Dog Company Calming Lavender Shampoo for Dogs – Hypoallergenic is perfect for my dog. The bottle is easy to use when I have soap on my hands and a dog that isn’t happy about being wet. I really like the smell. The best thing is “hypoallergenic”. Dog’s scratching has been greatly reduced. Not solved, but reduced.

My doberman loves this shampoo. it smells good too. it makes her coat shine & it doesn’t irritate it. she doesn’t scratch her skin at all. it’s very easy to rinse off of her and it’s not too thick.

The bottle is not full
The first shipment wasn’t packed right and half of the shampoo was leaked all over the box. So now I need to send it back and drive to Whole Foods. I got the replacement bottle today and it’s not full either. It smells good and I’m hoping that it will work well on my dogs, but why not fill the bottle?

Works Great
Our family dog had very dry skin and she was scratching really bad. We couldn’t figure out what was causing it. We tried this shampoo and it’s amazing. Her skin is no longer red and itchy or dry. Just after a few uses. We noticed a huge difference in her scratching after the first use, after the second and third, it’s been amazing. I highly recommend this product.

We have a Boston Terrier with food allergies. She is constantly breaking out in itchy, scratchy hives. Even when we’re careful. This shampoo has helped SO MUCH. Bathing her twice a week has stopped the scratching-until-she-bleeds significantly. It doesn’t have a strong smell, which is great. And it lathers and rinses really easily. I use just a coin shaped amount and then scrub her all over with a loofah, rinse, and repeat one more time. She is so soft and no more red itchy bumps, no bleeding scabs. No chewing her paws.We also added some Salmon to her diet. That, in combination with this shampoo, has made things even better! She’s a totally different dog.I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone with a dog that has skin issues, and also look into Natural Balance “Limited Ingredient Diet” dog food in Salmon and Sweet Potato.After 10 years of struggling to find something that works, this shampoo is a godsend!
