SIMPLE TO MAINTAIN – To keep perfect hygiene, you can take apart our toy, wash it & put it back together. It’s also possible to remove the catnip & put in a fresh new batch to keep the toy attractive to your kitty.

Virtually Indestructible!!! SEAHORSE ONLY
I’m purchased this product about 2 years ago and my cats use it every day.The only Reason that I’m buying another is because there’s so much out there that Does not last And I wanna have a backup. I have put this one in the dishwasher several times On the top rack and i noticed some slight cracking. I have no fear of leaving this product with My cat’s permanently without supervision. There are no pieces to break off. The product is firm but soft enough for satisfying biting from cats.

great little chew toy for kittens
I got the seahorse for my kitten that’s getting in his adult teeth and he absolutely loves it! my 1yr old cat that’s a chewer also loves chewing on it when I put kibble in the belly. so far it’s been pretty tough but the horn (?) on top of the head got chewed off right away and my 1yr old cat did a bit more damage to it than the kitten, so it may be best for light chewers or kittens.one drawback to this is that it comes with bells in it and because it has a large opening, that’s a huge choking hazard especially for kittens. I took those out right away. there’s also a packet of cat nip stuffed in the head which hasn’t seemed to move at all but if you have very enthusiastic players you may want to remove that as well and just use it as a simple food puzzle/chew toy.

Buy with caution: caused bowel obstruction
My cat LOVED this toy. His favorite thing to chew on. He would hug it and chew it and his eyes would roll back because he was so happy. He pulled a couple of the legs off and began chewing pieces off, so I bought a new one and threw away the old one. When the new one arrived, he immediately bit into the tail and off came the corner. I couldn’t find the piece and was worried that he’d swallowed it. I looked at the reviews to see if anyone had had a bad outcome with the toy but I didn’t see anything except a caution to only let the pet spend a few minutes at a time with it. I started doing that–just five minutes at a time. But I couldn’t stop thinking about that little piece. Three weeks went by. No problem. Then he started vomiting and refusing food. Stopped grooming, started hiding. I thought he had a tummy bug at first but thank God we took him to the vet. He had a bowel obstruction that would have killed him in another day or two. The obstruction was the tiny green piece of rubber. I hate to write a review like this because he loved this toy so much, but I had to share this because the cost could be so very high. The search for a toy he will love just as much but will be safer has begun.

Durable, but untouched
Bought this for 2 chewy furballs….(one likes to chew on the corners of anything plastic/laminated, the other likes to chew ELECTRICAL cords. Neither will take even the slightest interest in this thing. Tried with and without bell, tried catnip that came with it, tried my own catnip and even tried treats inside. Cats completely ignored this. That said, this was packaged well, and had quick delivery. Natural rubber smell is a bit strong, but washes out. Every bit as durable as touted. Only complaint (other than its total lack of feline appeal) is the hole for the catnip is rather large, so the bell tends to fall out unless you lodge it so far into the creature’s body that the bell doesn’t ring (catnip cavity is the entire length of its body). But hole is also so small that it’s hard to fish the catnip sachet back out. This toy is a nice idea, but didn’t work for my cats. Maybe I will give it to someone else. Glad I didn’t get the 2-pack.

Perfect for bad breath
my boy cat loves these, he really chews on it to try and get the catnip inside, and it really helps with his breath. i don’t love that the bell is loose so i just don’t use it, but he still loves it and uses it often.

Not great for cats or kittens
This is too hard for cats to chew and has an unpleasant odor. It also has a pouch of catnip stuffed in it that can easily come out and choke the cat. Then even worse, there was a small bell stuffed into the head, above the catnip pouch. Neither were attached in any way. It was small enough to choke a kitten so I immediately threw those two things out and my kitten ignores it. I had hoped it would be good for teething on but it’s not.

Great toy for chewers
I have a cat that loves to chew on things. She will shred cardboard boxes or papers she finds sitting around. So I wanted to find something to satisfy her urge to chew. She liked this toy right away. It comes with little catnip pouches you can put inside. I don’t know if she cares about that or not, but it is nice to have the option. She frequently pulls this toy out of the toy bin to chew on. It has cut down on her need to chew on other things as well, so that is a win in my opinion. I may be getting a second one as a backup in case she loses this one or manages to chew it apart. So far it has held up really well, but I’ve seen what she can do.

Durable but not for every cat
Good quality but but engaging my cats.My cats were teething again but seems they weren’t as interested in nibbling and playingwith this it as they were worriedly slapping it aeay, even with the catnip.Perhaps my cats are too small, might be better suited for a Maine Coon breed instead of my rescuess.
