Magic
My God the magic.Bag is so sturdy. We don’t use the mask but it fit well and was big enough for multiple cat sizes. The handle makes it versatile so you’re able to hang it on something sturdy to make it easier. The mask fabric was comfortable for us but we didn’t use it on the cats because y’know murder claws. But we will next time.It is easy to use but if you have a wiggly cat who does not like being confined or even the act of confinement you’re likely going to want help, or put them in fast and then hold it and start zipping.Well worth the price. Less effort of struggle. No rips in the bag or the mesh.

Muzzle worked, bag did not
I have a sweet but formerly feral scaredy cat who hates having his nailed trimmed (or even his paws touched), so I got this grooming bag to try. I waited until he was sleepy in my lap and then eased the muzzle onto him. He immediately panicked, somehow slipped out of the muzzle, and jumped off my lap and ran away. So I didn’t even get a chance to try the grooming bag that time.On my next try, I put the muzzle and the grooming bag in the bathroom where we usually trim his nails. It’s a small space and there’s nowhere he can hide. I picked him up and carried him into the bathroom. I set him on the floor and put the muzzle on him. He used one paw to fling it off. I tried again, and secured it a little tighter. I tried to set him in the grooming bag but even though he was blindfolded, he knew something was up and he stuck his paws out like he was flying, so I couldn’t even set him down onto the open bag. Since he was still wearing the muzzle, I thought I would try to just clip his claws with it on, thinking maybe he would stay calm that way. This worked! I sat down with him on my lap and was able to trim every claw. He wasn’t happy but the muzzle did keep him from jumping down or trying to get away.Whew. It was a workout though. These are both great inventions but you won’t know if they’ll work for you since every cat is so different. I do recommend trying though. I’m glad I now have the muzzle and hope to use it next time.

too long for my cats
i didn’t use but bag was too long for my cats, i also have a hard time believing that they wouldn’t just pull their paws in. the blindfold seems like it would terrify a cat.

Small for bigger cats to big for smaller
It seams a funny size. I have a cat who was the runt and she has remained small she is like 4 lbs at almost 2 and the bag allows her more room to turn and spin. So that’s not real helpful. I have 2 bigger cats one is 6 lbs other is 12. The 12lb one barly fits to zip it up with feat all extended through the holes but does fit. The other is a leggy lanky cat he is not fat but lenky and as such he barly fits length like. But even crunched in he can manuver quite alot.

Almost Purrfect
Although *really* hard to wrestle my cat into the bag, nail trimming worked very well in the bag hung with “mommy hooks” on the shower. My kitten is 9 months and has super sharp claws. So well worth the money. No issues with for.

Great cat straight jacket! Maximum 12 pound cat
I have 2 cats I use this on when I am trimming their claws and for placing ‘kitty caps’ on them to prevent furniture scratching.Pros: The Velcro and zippers are good quality and contain my cats well. There is a large zipper for securing your cat inside the grooming bag. Then a total of 4 smaller zippers near each paw to pull out one paw at a time. This is so helpful, it keeps my cat secure and prevents them from scratching or getting away. The first time my boyfriend helped me. But since then it has been easy for me to use with my cats by myself.Size/Fit: my shorthair 8 pound cat fits easily with room to spare. My 12 pound longhair BARELY fits in. If you have a larger cat you will need a larger size. Also comes with a Velcro face mask which I do use! There is a nose/mouth opening for air flow. I find using it helps keep my cats calm so they can’t get anxious seeing me work on their nails.Highly recommend!
