The Ipetstation Cat Feeder brings a new level of autonomy and convenience for both the pet and the owner.The Cat Feeder station works flawlessly in accordance with each of the seller’s assertions; it is built well and designed to allow the pet owner freedom from frequent trips to the feed bowl, and to ensure that a beloved pet is fed a specific amount of dry food on a pre-determined schedule. In addition, it facilitates the management of a pet’s diet with precise amounts of food to be dispensed at regulated intervals.Operated by the simplest means, food can be dispensed manually with the push of a physical button on the exterior of the station. On the other hand, by use of the Wi-Fi connected “Smart Life” app, food can be dispensed remotely at will, or according to a preset “Feeding Plan,” that designates both the amount and time dry food is rationed. Different feeding plans can be created, saved and initiated; for example, different plans for different days of the week, or one that includes a day of fasting, and so on. Works flawlessly, app is nice
The feeder itself works flawlessly. The app and instructions are pretty easy to use, played with it a little to figure out the settings and I’m happy with it. You can set an automatic feeding schedule for multiple times a day if needed, and manually initialize a feeding from the app. Currently it’s set to a schedule in the evening and manually feed in the morning. It’s set to ‘6 parts’ for 2 adult cats (selectable of 1 to 10). The lid is pretty secure so I don’t think it would spill food all over if it got knocked over.Good capacity too. It’s been used for morning and evening feeding of 2 adult cats for 10 days and it’s still more than 1/2 full.It works great on 2.4ghz WiFi and that is in the instructions. At first it wasn’t connecting during setup but then realized the phone was connected to the wrong network (5ghz). Switched to the right network and it worked great.I did receive this product free to test. I don’t think I would have sought it out to purchase but it has been a really nice experience with it, and the price of it seems very fair for the convenience and features it offers. With a change in my work schedule coming up soon this will take care of feeding them when I’m at work so I don’t have to ask a housemate to feed them every day. The cats are getting used to it, initially they were wary of the noises but they still ate from it.

This is awesome to have even if you’re not going away or anything. It’s just a load off my mind to have this feeder put out food everyday. It’s made from rigid plastic and seems decent quality. The metal bowl is kinda thin and flexible, but it’s functional.Just note you will need to download an app called Smart Life and input your wifi password, let it use bluetooth, and let it know your location for this feeder to work.Also make sure you have 2.4GHz wifi. It does not work on 5GHz wifi and not dual-band either.Imo the best thing is you can dispense 1 serving from the app on command. I find it really helpful when training my dog to work at a distance from me.

Excellent cat feeder. The food comes out easily. The app is super easy to figure out and program. You can schedule feedings or trigger one, even from far away. It even has a battery back up so you never have to worry about your pet going unfed (can also be used for small dogs – depends on the size of their kibble). There’s a really generous storage compartment and it’s well sealed so food will stay fresh. Nothing about this feeder that I, or the cat, don’t like.

This has really helped me schedule and limit the amount of food my overweight cat is getting. It’s allowing me to limit the food every few days so it’s a small reduction. App is good. Bowl is easy to clean.

Ordered this to use with puppies as a snack/treat dispenser, will not work for that purpose. It’s not very heavy and the dish holder is not attached to the unit, does not snap in. The dispenser part sits on the dish holder and that’s it. The metal dish is small, and very cheap feeling. It can be used with batteries or with the included power cord, but the cord has no protection from chewing, it’s a USB cord and block. It takes 4 D batteries as back up power source and when installed it helps lend stability to the dispenser unit. This unit is definitely only for cats. There are 4 little non-slip pads on the bottom, they do stop the unit from sliding across the floor. I tested the app as I already had it installed on my phone, it was easy to install and link to the device. Note that it will not connect if you have a “mixed” router. You need a dedicated 2.4 connection. Wish the cord came with protection against chewing, and that the dish holder attached with a locking mechanism to the unit and that the unit was a bit heavier to help avoid tipping over. I think the price is a bit high.
